A college which is developing and improving day by day.

As to get admission in any of the Engineering colleges in Maharashtra you had to write MH-CET,I too had to write the same .The scene is changed though now.You need to write JEE to get admission in any colleges in Maharashtra or any part of India . The reason for opting this particular college was that I had some friends who were already studying in the same college and had heard that the Extc faculties are pretty good.

The course curriculum (EXTC) gives you a mix of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information technology the course includes the basics of all the three. You need to decide in which field you want to pursue your career.The earlier you choose your field ,the more things are more sorted. I've seen students who even after passing out are confused which filed to choose which just builds up the frustration. As i have already said course gives you the basics,You need to take measures and learn further.

Hardly any of the colleges affiliated to Mumbai University provides any internship to the students. But EXTC department of SCOE has a MOU signed with Reliance Jio this year.So under the MOU, students are provided internships with Reliance Jio without any stipend(not needed though)

When I had entered this college ,it was a dream for the students to get placed from the college.But the situation is completely reversed now. We now have many colleges visiting SCOE now. The Training And Placement Cell of the college working very hard for the same the major recruiters are IT companies.

Amongst the other neighbouring colleges in Navi-mumbai ,the fee structure of SCOE is less. When I was in my first year ,the academic fee was 96000INR which included the stationary and the transport charges also (bus service to and fro college to station) In my final year the fee was about 95000INR.

Central Bank of India provides loan facilities. Apart from that ,there is scholarship for SC/ST students.Scholarships are also there for Economic backward classes(family income less than 100000INR). If you don't fit in the above mentioned but have a good score(above 70%),you may apply for educational grants from TATA or such trusts.

In SCOE there are about 10-13 Comittees each organising their events thorugh out the year In short the campus life is pretty good ,if at all you are a active participator. The students are open minded .the gender ratio varies from department to department. SCOE gives you a fair chance to improve your personality through Loads and loads of extra curriculars. The crowd of SCOE is a mix of the lower middle class and middle class people you will get to meet people with different point of view and different breed.

SCOE doesn't provides any hostel facilities .But students generally rent out flats in the nearby areas which is comparatively cheaper. Students coming from various parts usually form a group of 4-5 and rent houses in the areas like Kamothe, Belapur, Manasarovar the crowd in the neighboring areas is a mix and full of diversity.

The seniors help you the most they give you tips regarding everything you need .May it be books to be referred or helping you out for your projects,the seniors do help.The valuable advice from the seniors for Internships and the certifications comes handy for your placement process.

The Exams is a chilling experience here .As the faculties are good, all you have to do is just read a day before the exams and here you are. You can easily pass through the exams. The labs are well maintained here, but the equipments need some oiling though .The lab assistants are very supportive and help you in every possible way.

After the results of MH-CET were out ,we got he notification of filling the online application for admissions. The admission procedure was pretty smooth though. They had facility centres in every cities(usually 2-3 in each).You need to fill the form at the facility centres only. After a week or so the first list was declared.By the way there are three merit lists The third list is a counselling round which is conducted at Aurangabad. After your name appears in the list,you need to go to the respective college within three days.If not admission gets cancelled. You need to confirm your seat (You can wait for the second list list even after confirming though). The administration at Saraswati was okayish.As you are not alone you have to wait.

The faculties(EXTC) are very good with indepth knowledge of the subjects they teach.Earlier new professors used to come and go .But know the situation seems to be changed a bit.They support the students with every possible means .Had I not mentioned EXTC department is very strict about attendance(75%).
