D Y Patil College of Engineering Pune is built across 10 acre of land. College offer BE and ME courses. It is approved by AICTE. The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune university. I take admission in this college because my rank in Jee main was approximately 136000 and i did not get admission in Nit. only choice was to choose private college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculties of our college is very supportive and frankly towards students. It is one of the best college in term of crowd, attendance. you can bunk easily. if you have 40% attendance then it is ok. teachers help students in overall development. campus reputation get damaged due to paper leakage. Its nick name is DYPCOE. college management is responsible for filling 20% of total seats.
Placement Experience
This college lack in term of placement. core companies do not visit in our campus. placements are only for computer science branch. In mechanical branch placements are few. staff are striking to provide placements. many companies have now started for hiring students but mostly companies give package of three lac only.
College Events
In campus there are many trees, beautiful plantation of flowers, huge lawn. students in this college come from all states of the country, it create diversity here. one can meet many people every day. students can not drive a four wheeler to college but two wheeler is allowed due to space problem. DYPCO is said to be heaven for foodies.
Campus Life
DYPCOE has spacious area for central library. campus has open Air Amphitheatre for cultural events and social gathering. There is a Fountain at the Entrance gate of the college. campus is very huge. There are five canteens. There are many labs like project lab, computer lab, Network lab, Material testing lab and so many. There is a facility of cafeteria, gym, auditorium, wi-fi.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel have various facilties. Mess food is very tasty. It has facility of RO water cooler, TV room, guest house. It has sevice of newspapers. security is strict in the hostel. you have to show your ID card. mess has time for lunch and dinner. rooms of hostel are spacious and neat. A/C is not allowed in the hostel.
