CAT. I had seniors who did their PG from the same college. Got a good feedback from them . I got 83 percentile in CAT and thought of applying in ISM. Fortunately everthing went well and I made it to the college.

It is good. 4 streams for MBA grad. Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Operation and Finance. A student is supposed to choose two Elective from these 4.Hence it is dual specialization. Under these 4 streams there are number of electives .

Yes college provide internship and average stipend is about 7-10 K depending on the company and field of internship.

Opportunities ranging from Govt Jobs to Private. Coal India is a regular visitor and it being a Maharatna offers a decent package. In private the list of companies vary year to year. Accenture, Hyundai, Electrosteel, Paytm and recently number of other companies under state government have also offered a good packages of 8-9 lacs.

Technical fest "Concetto", Cultural fest "Srijan" and then Alumini Meet "Basant" and Sport fest. Participation were from colleges all over India. Srijan is one of the biggest college fests in East India. Celebrities like KK, Ranvijay and big bands even from abroad come to make event a big hit.

It is one of the most economical keeping in mind the return on investment. I don't remember the fees at my time exactly. But it was around 2.5 lacs. But it has recently being increased. But still economical considering what is being charged in Private colleges.

Scholarship is being offered to the topper of the batch and also on the basis of economical background.

Gender ratio- 1:1 in MBA batch. Students get the opportunity to grow with lot of extra curricular activities, inter department competitions, workshops, seminars. Existence of Societies for different interests of students ranging from music to robotics.

Hostel were a great experience hostels were as new as built in 2012 to as old as that of 1926. Hostel fees was very nominal standards were good with gym and indoor games room. Hostel facility - 8/1 vendors selected for mess were good and hence the mess food was upto the mark mess food - 8/10.

It being one of the oldest colleges in India, alumni network is very strong and yes alumni network and seniors were helpful.

Balanced curriculum without giving much stress to students there were sessionals and then main exams. Sessional carried a small percentage of the final marks and hence were as important as the semester exams. Semester exams were schedules properly with gaps.

Information on college site inviting applications. Notification was released after few days of CAT exam.Application was to be submitted with CAT score and a DD. Shortlisted candidates were called for GD and Interview round . Results were declared through the college site.

All Ph.D holders and visiting faculties to colleges even outside India. practical approach for teaching helped in learning and retaining the rich content. English was the prime language of commutation used for teaching. Teachers were friendly and open to all queries.
