Because it is one if the prestigious college of DElhi university. Also I always wanted to be in kirorimal college. It provides a great platform for every student chasing his/her dreams. Once a kirorian,always a kirorian

Course Curriculum Overview

Its great. According to me, the syllabus we??ve is nice, interesting. and teachers doing their job right. Not always been a studious person but i really enjoy the way they teach. Also i love the course, i.e history hons.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

I??m an arts student. So I don??t know about this. It would be better if someone from commerce share their experiences.

College Events

There is no life like campus like, its heaven for all the students, we make friends, that turn into family, also events like fests. for which DU is very famous also there is a bunch of extra curricular activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarships are available. I really have no idea about this but all i know is that there are more scholarships available for science students. I guess students need to apply for scholarships separately.

Campus Life

I guess delhi university has great sports facilities, there are a lot of sports activities provided, also students get admission through sports quota, also the size of library is okay. I have no idea about lab equipment and also we rarely get wi fi.

Hostel Facilities

No. I??ve not opted for hostel. I live in pg. we don??t have girls hostel in our college and the university hostel is far away. Also u need to score more for getting hostel in Delhi university.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU.
