At jesus and mary college admission can be sought in media studies. RK FMA has partened with jesus and mary college to offer vocational and skill oriented programme. admission in these course is direct on first come bases. I have to make carer in media so i opted this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Media studies is a part time course. classes are usually held on 2-3 days per week. classes are held on tuesday and thursday and timing for classes is 3.30pm to5. 00pm.curriculum of these course is carefully studied by expert before selection of specific organisation to conduct the same. studio based practical session shall be conducted at RKFMA near Rajendra place metro. classes are conducted by industry professional and expert. after completion of course certificate is given by JMC.

Jesus and Mary is a women College under DU. only girls students are allowed to take admission. Jesus and Mary college is one of the few college in the university of delhi whose student body is not affiliated with Delhi University students union. campus is located in chanakyapuri. JMC does not have hostel facility. students stay in PG's. Montage is annual festival for two days. Ithas excellent facilities for sports. It has indoor gym facility.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745.
