Remarks

It's the top college runned by state government of Assam. Also it is the oldest college of North East India. Plus it's near my home. There is ease of mode of transportation and the college campus is really nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good. There's all things needed. Right now it's undergoing a change to match the global curriculum. The faculties are really friendly too. They are some of the best faculties one can ever find.

Placement Experience

Being a state run government college the placement is tough and not much compared to private sector colleges. There are a lot of start ups run by our alumni. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell is active too, trying to provide the best of the opportunities they can find.

College Events

The campus life is spectacular. Specially our fest Pyrokinesis. It's the best fest of North East India. The nights go crazy. Also the other facilities available are good too. For sports and other interests like modelling/photography etc.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is really good. It can be improved a lot but it's available the things needed by us. Tge equipments are a bit old but most of the things we find it. Also we don't have to travel around a lot around the campus in search of classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love to explore the novels of great writers so i choose the English literature to complete my bachelor degree . The course enhanced the thinking of mine and upgrade the knowledge of literature . I don't think they need a improvement on teaching . But exam timing isn't fine . 9 AM isn't untolarable we can't reached the college too early

Placement Experience:

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.
