Entrance Preview

I did my Masters of commerce and Masters of Business administration from Berhmapur University. It has its own entrance examination during that period. Now its taking students throught JEE BPUT examination. I scored the second position in the MBA entrance in 2003. Its a UGC recognised university known as Bhanjabihar. This is best institution of south odisha and very affordable to complete a degree so i choose this.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is the best and at par with all other top management institute. It has its core specialisation faclity ,like Finace , marketing this course was two year regular course with internship, project too semester system 4 semester in two year quartely there will be test and semester wise exam pattern follow by the university.

Internships Opportunities

What is the stipend now they are giving i m not aware. For NET qualifies its around 10000 per month.

Placement Experience

Most of our alumnus are placed in top companies and Govt there is no specific campus comes but it depends on the availability of that year our 100 students are highly placed in different sector. I am now in TCS as a Business Analyst and i m from the same institute.

College Events

I have organised the First Alumuni function of department in the year 2004. Now are are following the same attended National seminars, Workshops about the cultural festival we celebrate the Ganesh Puja and Saraswati Puja with grand and full of enjoyment.

Campus Life

Campus life was awesome. Have spend around 5 years . that best time of my life you will get Liabrary, sports, students union, Big playground, Bus facility, Medical, no gender in equality, No religion difference. Very friendly environment economic status is normal. Politics is not good as the outside politics spoils sometime the environment.

Hostel Facilities

The best hostel facility you will get in BU there are 5 mens and 3 womens, 1 reserch hostel and 1 Mphil hostel is there food is also cheap and best as you know berhampur is famous for its food in odisha I can give 100 % for the staying facility nearer to deparments.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the department has all alumni network availability its helpful for the new pass out students semester system 4 semester in two year quartely there will be test and semester wise exam pattern follow by the university.

Admission

Berhmapur University was conducting its own entrance examination for each dept. The total marks in the entrance and the career marking also counted for the selection. Admission process was very easy and affordable govt fees are taken there semester system 4 semester in two year quarterly there will be test and semester wise exam pattern follow by the university.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

I have choose these couse because I have do mba in agriculture.teaching is very good but teacher teaching only in notes or exam point of view some teachers.and some teacher only read and saying not writing pn blackboard. Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.
