Good college for an average student.

Starting with the good aspects of this college, The infrastructure and the social life here is very encouraging. The admission is done through WBJEE. Once the entrance results are out the admission starts from the month of July. My reason for preferring this college over others is the campus life here. When I was searching for colleges I used Google and found this one. This college can completely satisfy the need for an average student. Now beginning with the bad aspects of this college I can say, fee structure may be much higher for some people. Studies are less and extracurricular activities are much much more present over here.

BTech in CSE is the most demanding branch. I love to code for software. My reason that I chose this college was that I can secure a seat not very easily but possibly. Brief about faculty-student ratio I can say is 2:5. The qualification of the faculty is very good. The faculty here is highly qualified. The teaching method is not much appealing all I can say is. Faculty focuses more on extracurricular than on teaching in the classroom. Exams are held timely it is not very very tough to pass.

Fees Hike policy completely depends on the government's decision. the average cost of studying here for BTech is around 80000 rupees per annum. In overall it costs around 6 to 7 lacs. Scholarships are available for meritorious students. Campus jobs are not very much appealing. Rarely a student gets a very decent package.

Talking about the annual fest and tech fest, there exists an annual fest every year in the month of November-December. not talking about the availability of books and journals in the library it is quite enough for the student. A classroom with all the necessary amenities is equipped here. Extracurricular activities are focused more over here. There are many social groups clubs for students run by students over here. Info regarding the same will be available in the academics.

There are separate beds provided for every student in the room. Separate study tables and a separate wardrobe. Students over here are very naughty, apart from studies everything occurs in the hostels. For a good meritorious student, I will suggest not to opt for the hostel. Take a separate room for rent or whatever you can. The registration process for a hostel is very easy, you just need to opt-in while the admission process. The pricing and fast for a hostel are average.
