SDMCET Review

The teaching faculty and the campus is good. The overall college campus is so nice. There is also hostel facility for both boys and girls which includes a total of 5 hostels. The campus is so vast that you can discover so many things around. The campus also has a Ganesha temple which is so beautifully built. The placement activities are really good, the faculty provides training for the placement to the students.

I chose the Civil branch because I was interested in that course and also the things I learn from it. The faculty: student ratio is fare enough. All the faculties are well versed in their courses, some are PhD holders whereas some are MTech pursued teachers. Term exams are pretty good, we can't say we will easily get past but we have to study in order clear the subjects.

Students become eligible for the placements from their 7th semester. Over 50 companies visit our college every year for the placements. The percentage of students getting placed every year is pretty high.

Our college takes some additional fees except the fees we pay for KEA (if you're from CET quota). I didn't get a scholarship, and as I'm still learning so can't say about the job. I hope I'll get a good job when I complete my course.

Campus life is really good. Every year a annual fest is conducted in the college known as insignia usually during the month of March or April. The library is so vast and good we can get any type of books we want here related to our studies and there is also plenty of space for the students to study. Our college also gives opportunities for students in sports. It as a big playground. Also many other club activities are being conducted every year.

The hostel is pretty good. There are 2 hostels for girls and 3 for boys. The rooms are also pretty well. The meal quality provided by the mess is good and we also get many varieties in the meal every day, it is healthy and tasty.
