The best college for better career.

The college management is very good and they are always working towards getting best technology updates for the students ( Ex: Seminars by Global Leaders, Development Interpersonal Skills, Communication skills including the Foreign Languages and CIL Certification training at Campus (Creative Innovation and Leadership Program by DSCE). Did not observed much encouragement for Sports (Ex: Kabbadi, Cricket and etc)

CET entrance exam conducted by state board of Karnataka. The exam is usually conducted every year for 12th pass and Diploma lateral entry scheme. The exam will be same as CET but ranking structure will be made only on the basis of lateral entry scheme and 12th pass.

The course structure is framed very well and it helps the students to get an idea about the work which they are going work post studies in the industries. The Laboratories for students are well equipped and helps them to gain more practical knowledge.

In 2012 there are no facilities for the internship and even we didn't had in our academic syllabus too. But now i hope they will be providing an internship opportunity for the deserved aspirants with standard stipend.

The Placement and Job Opportunities are good during course and even the post completion of the course. I think still Venkatesh is placement coordinator and he is helping students to get into best industries during their completion of course. The best companies are coming for the campus recruitment and most of the students with 60+ % are getting placements on campus. I suggest them to help the students who are 50+ % result in academics by giving them a special industrial training to get the jobs in the market to hold up the college reputation every year.

The college is best in celebrating and conducting inter college festivals to help students to mingle with the inter college students too. They are many events which are conducted in year. 1. Department Freshers Welcome Party (Each Dept. Conducts independently) college Festival departmental Club ( Ex: EC Club by Electronics Branch) who will regularly organize and conduct cultural and sports events. Other events ( Concert, Talk by Global leaders, Inter college gaming events and many events Television events will happen in Auditorium and students can help themselves to get into the events) really the best campus life which i ever seen.

It seem like little expensive as compare to other colleges but my personal view is that we are enough facilities inside the college including career prospective. If they reduce the fees by little then it will be very good. (Fees will be 40k to 50k per year).

Every one who scores well in their academics and students who are under non-creamy layer are eligible for the scholarships.

The Campus is like a Heaven and the college infra structure is beautifully constructed. Entire campus is under CCTV hence proved the safe and secured life for the students. The Auditorium is more than heaven. Entire campus is beautiful and you will enjoy each and every spot including the temple on the top of the hill station inside the campus.

Hostel facility is good including the accommodation and food. We have different hostel facilities like NRI hostel, Indian Hostel (Sardar Patel boys hostel and etc). If i am not wrong they are 5 Hostel inside the campus and even they are having 1 or 2 hostel outside the campus. Food facility is very good and the menu is always like mouth watering. Need to improve on the hospitality and need to take the feedback from the students for getting better results.

Seniors are very happy about the placements and they are happy about their journey throughout the course at DSCE Kumaraswamy Layout. They used tell that they missed lot of opportunities in the sports activities. They are not utilized the play grounds well and I personally recommend the college management to look into this one particular issue.

The exam structure is very good and it will help the students to apply their thoughts with the best practical knowledge. Students need to take three internals before the university exam and each internal will be conducted strictly to evaluate the students academic ability. The students need to complete their mini projects in the lab only. the lab environment is very good for students. The lab technical staff will help the students in the stages wherever they need the interruption of the staff.

Faculty at DSCE are very good and they even have the industrial expertise. When it comes to ECE Dept. Most of the faculties are PhD. Holders and left are pursuing their PhD. They are friendly with students and they help students to understand better even after the classroom lecture.
