My college experience

Mechanical is an evergreen field, and I didn't love, but I had the potential to understand mechanics, thermodynamics, etc in physics. I can perform well in it. 3 faculty per subject, 1 faculty per student per 1/3rd subject. Mtech, PhD qualified faculty. The teaching method is the majority conventional, but they also give you industrial experience through stories and problem in industries. There are industry visits too. Exams are easy for you if you have attended 60% lectures of a subject throughout the semester. Mid-sem exams are taken after 2 months of every sem started. End Sem is taken after 2 months from mid-sem. You can get at least 70% score, reading local publication books, before 1 week of exams and your basics of 11th, 12th is clear. Only basics and fundamental. This happens only if you can read, write and understand English normally. You can get normal in English within 1 month, if you follow this Read, understand, solve 11, 12th physics, maths, textbook. This is enough for normal English.

Reliance offers internship to 2 students in mechanical engineering with stipend up to 45,000 rs per month, for 2 months maximum. If Reliance feels good about the intern they give 7 lakhs per annum to its intern, and then the intern is placed. Reliance conduct test, GD, interview for an internship. All this is done in the 3rd year. This is on Campus placement. Off-campus, my senior grabbed internship in L&T. He was a supervisor there, he learnt a lot, experienced and then after 4th year he placed in Adani. He too got an offer from ACCENTURE of 4.5 lakh per annum. In 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th sem, every student has to form group, 4-5 students and has to work on the desired project, lead it to innovation. This project starts from 3rd sem and gets completed till 6th. He can change the project in between too, with specified reason. In 4th year he has to submit a final year project, which helps people socially, industrially, physically, etc. In short help to society. Intern duties junior engineer, social media market, etc.

Students become employable on their own, by their hard work, dedication, zeal to learn their branch. But from the college side, it can give 100 % placement if you were average in study. And dream package if you are dedicative to your branch all time. Pressure jet systems, aarvee associates, MG motors, Welspun, Reliance, Linde, Adani Port, Rane, Adani Power, Cairn, Atul, Excel Tech, Ltts, Torrent, Godrej, Shriram, GFL, Araymond, Rallis, Harsha Engineering, TCL, Horizon Microtech, Gujarat Gas, RSPL - This are ON campus placements. OFF campus placements are done by - Atman solution Pvt. Ltd., universal Honda, Telesiya network Pvt. Ltd. Sometimes ACCENTURE too grabs mechanical students in on-campus placements. This was companies for the mechanical engineering department. If you are from any other branch, don't worry, just Google placement call LDCE, you will get the whole list of companies along with different branches, of every past year, and also a number of students placed every year. I'm planning MBA.

Govt. pays 1,55,000 Rs for every student every year. We have to pay 2300 rs per year. 600-800 rs every sem for end sem exams. You get 12000 rs of MYSY scholarship every year if you stay in a hostel, PG. 5000 rs extra for 1st year, for buying books. You get 10000 rs from national scholarship portal, same as above. But if you stay in govt. Hostel, then you only get 1st year 5000 rs from MYSY for books. 80% of campus placement is done. In Mechanical max have gone up to 9 lakhs per annum. The average is 3-4 Lakhs per annum in mass recruiting. In computer, max gone up to 12 lakh per annum.

The campus is huge and life is memorable in LDCE. Every year national level tech fest is organised in February for 3 days, LAKHSYA, organised by Robocon Club. Search on Google, clubs in LDCE, click on the first link. You will get every details related to every elcub in LDCE. Various clubs organise games, events, sports competition. NSS and NCC is also there in LDCE. Various pages run by LDCE students on Facebook, Instagram, and groups on WhatsApp. Every club has their social sites active. L. R. Jain Boarding, Mamnagar, opposite Prajapati Hostel. 1 room, total 3 roommates from various colleges and courses, 1 desk per student, 1 bed per student, 2 cupboards per student. The 3-floor building, ground, 1st, 2nd. Every floor consist, 3 bathrooms, 3 western toilets, 1 Indian toilet, 2 basins, 1 table to sit, 8 rooms. Menu in mass is decided per 14 days. On this like pacham, only plain Jain food is made without green veggie. On holidays special treat includes unlimited sweet like shrikhand, mattho or limited 1sweet like panda etc. Registration is done based on merit, and room availability. Hostel is most most most affordable. You get 1 kathol, 1 veggie, 2 types of daal, rice, ghee roti in lunch. You get light food like khichdi, pauva, dudh, chai, sometimes in dinner. Sometimes Dahi vada, Pani puri, idli sambhar too. The locality is classy, Reliance mall beside, bank, atm is beside.
