Overall SRM Valliammai Engineering College is well and good. The staffs put their effort and clear the doubts as well. I really didn't know what to expect when I started my degree. Especially as I am an off-site part-time student I didn't think I would have access to all the benefits that full-time students do however this is definitely not the case. We are able to visit the campus anytime and when we are there we have full access to all the facilities and resources that the other students do. The course tutors and lecturers are always happy to help and respond quickly to correspondence. The facilities and course material are second to none, readily available and easily accessible. The campus is in a really nice location with good links to the city. Even as an off-site student I still feel a really integral part of the university and am enjoying every minute of my studies.

With a wide range of knowledgeable faculty member, they are the core of the business school. Teachers make the session interactive and are always open to clarify doubts or explain concepts again. Faculty members have educational qualifications from top-notch B-schools, holding a PhD degree in their field of study. The teaching pedagogy is in line with any other B-school, case studies provide students with knowledge on managerial problems and widen the intellectual capacity of students.

Our college doesn't provide generally companies to approach for internships. But we can approach any company and the college gives their full support for that. Many of our students have completed their internships in various companies like HCL, Accenture, etc. I have done my internship at Ogive solutions and my work was a document writer. My stipend was about 1000 per document. We can learn more about the working environment with the help of these internships and our college provides full support to the students and also encourages them.

Placement department conducted the placement training from the 6th semester itself and that training will be helpful for students to get placed in top MNC. Companies like Accenture, TCS, Wipro and other core companies were visited the college for recruitment and mostly 70 -80% of students got placed in top companies.

For placements, SRM Valliammai Engineering College has the best team members to enhance the student's knowledge in terms of personal development, aptitude development and critical thinking. They offer placement training from the 3rd year of your course. From 2017 batch, most of the alumni of Valliammai Engineering College secured fantastic jobs in the best MNCs and studying in abroad. Even some students are working in the research sectors.

98% of students were placed. The highest salary offered was above Rs 65,000 per month and the lowest of Rs 45,000 per month was offered. In the library, all books are available at any time.

Yeah am hosteler and I have stayed there for the two years of my college life. But Even hostel cost is a bit high, you can get a spacious hostel room with study table and one cupboard with WiFi facility. I and my friends were made many memories in my hostel days which I will cherish forever. Coming to the food, they have north and south Indian menus and the food quality was good too. On my final year, I rented a room to get some exposure from outside of my campus.

Software Engineer Interview Hyderabad. In GD round the topic given to me was "Whether 15 years of education was useful or not". In Technical Face to Face interview, they mainly focused on projects. They asked me to explain my projects and its advantages compared to the existing system. And other questions like SQL queries, database tables, join operation, differences between delete, truncate and drop, they asked about my achievements, questions on presentation skills, future study plans, Questions on my skill set as mentioned in the resume, strength and weakness, C-language etc. In MR round there is a complete overview of all the topics related to projects, subjects, achievements, skill sets, and they mainly observed body language & confidence level. Finally, in HR round they asked me to introduce myself, questions on projects, the duration of projects, the role I played in a team, about customer satisfaction, logical questions, describe how unique you are from others.
