I took CAT for my MBA admissions in Top B-Schools but unfortunately my score is not up to the standard required in LIBA (Loyola Business School). So my next choice is SRM , there in addition to CAT i was made to take SRMCAT which has same standard as CAT. After that i got score to get into SRM institute of Management.

When it comes to course curriculum it is evenly divided into theory and practical sessions. For theory related papers the practical session will be of case discussion which is the important part of curriculum. The curriculum is so advanced such that research work can be done in any part of elective. My elective is Operations and Marketing, i did Market analysis of many products during my 2nd semester.

It is mandatory for us to do Internship for MBA Grads after every semester exam and the same will be provided by management too. Actually many companies signed MOU's with us and hence the internship will be provided to the students based on interest in scope and field of specialisation. Stipend will be also be given at the range of 2000-3000 per month.

The placement starts usually after August in every department of campus. For engineering mostly IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, CTS will be recruiting students in large numbers and pay will be in range of 4-5 lakhs per annum. When it comes to MBA companies mostly come for Marketing and Finance such as Mondelez foods, Delloite, RBS bank,E &Y etc and their pay scale will be of 5-6 lakhs per annum.

Technical event and Management fest - Aarush - National level techno-Management fest usually held during the month of september for a period of week. We have participants from all over the top level institutions in our country.Cultural Fest - Jhalak- The inter college cultural competition where the battle of all the houses will be there to own the best house of the year award in all perspectives.

Fee structure for MBA will be around 2.75 Lakhs and for all engineering is around 2 to 3 lakhs. For MBA its worth the fee since the guidance and support given by the management is very nice and good. The ambience of the class and lectures given by the faculty are of very standard. We also been given books which are of very standard authors.

I am a day scholar. I don't know much about Hostel facilities and all. But from my colleagues i heard that Hostel is not so worth the money and food also average as the standards are not met. In case of PG to have a luxury standard you have to spend 20000 per month but for a normal and comfortable the rooms as available near college outskirts on sharing basis starting from 3500 per month.

Exams, the most important part in our curriculum. we have to write for Cycle test and Model test well during our semester in order to get good internal marks. Its somewhat a hectic since only the day before we will rush to take photocopy of class notes and will ask important questions from faculty.

I got admission in SRM institute of management.Initially we have to get application form from admission dept. The admission process is of two phases in which on Phase 1- We have to pay the Fee mentioned (Full fees or partial) and we have to get the Fee receipt. Phase 2 will be just before the college opening and in that we have to give all certificates needed and it will be verified.

Faculty, the most member in our life starting from our childhood till now,who molded us. In my college, Faculty have high practical oriented knowledge and whenever we have doubts they are ready to clarify it even through messenger too. They are so friendly with us. They are also motivators, who motivates us through thick and thin.
