IIM Lucknow is one of the premier MBA colleges in India. It offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management. IIM Lucknow has its own campus infrastructure including hostel facilities for students. Admissions are taken through CAT exam and subsequent GD & interview rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview
IIM Lucknow is one of the premier colleges in India to pursue an MBA program. Faculty has both theoretical & practical experience in the field of management. The faculty: student ratio is ~20:1. Teaching is upto the mark inclusive of recent trends in the industry.
Internships Opportunities
Companies from various industries come to offer internships. Stipends vary in the range of 50K - 200K per month. PPOs are also offered during internships. Internships are offered for a period of 3 months.
Placement Experience
There are total of 6 semesters. Companies hire students in their 5th semester. Consulting, finance, marketing roles are offered by companies in various industries. More than 90% of the batch gets placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
One year fees are approx. 7.5 Lakhs. There was no financial assistance for me however, one can avail of the scholarship for a financially weak background. I was placed with L&T in campus placement. The stipend for internships is in the range of 50K to 200K per month.
Campus Life
Manifest Varchasva is their annual fest. It is organized in the month of December every year. The library is vast and they have books/journals from a variety of fields. Classrooms are equipped with all the amenities. Infrastructure is in place to play sports & pursue extracurricular activities. There are clubs/committees run by students.
Interview Experience
Yes. One needs to go through GD/PI process. The weightage for the CAT exam was ~70% and 40 % for GD & PI. Preparation was about practicing the answers and be upto date with industry trends. One has to go through all the above to get admission in college.
