Remarks

I have no idea to join this college. But my school staff ( biology ) recommended to me this college. Because this is traditional and cultural following college and also very safe to girls. It is the most popular college in Trichy for women. I didn't search for any website to choose this college. Firstly we go to see the college but my parents decided it is the very safest college for me. Then they joined SRC.

Course Curriculum Overview

First of all, I chose the botany department because I love botany during my school days. Because of my school staff. In my college staffs also very nice and kind persons. They scolded students but not harshly only they scold kindly. All department teachers are the very talented and well-trained staff. Whenever you asked doubt they don't hesitate. They answered any time and anywhere. Our college staffs are very kind to students. And they gave many assignments for students. That is very helpful to know something and recall our subject.

Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college offer internship. That is called Internshala. All of our students are applying for the internship. Most final year students apply for the internships. That is very useful to students. The internship provided with a stipend.

Placement Experience

Our college offers a campus interview. Many companies are interviewing our students and they told us they want staffs like SRC students. Many companies like Omega. Many schools also wanted to interview our students and selected them. Final year students are eligible for the campus interview. My plan after getting the degree is UPSC exam preparation.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college, the fee structure is very all departments. My course fee structure is below 7000 per semester. Scholarships are available in our college. BC/OC/ other scholarships are offered in our college.

Campus Life

We are Celebrate culture all year. The cultural conducted in the month of January or February. And also organized sports day in our college. Our college Nutrition and dietetics students manage Seera's diet clinic. Our library is the very neat and clean and very very silent environment. Our library contains many books more than 3000. That is very useful to students. We all give books in our library for reference.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.
