Remarks

One of the best colleges in Salem. Best infrastructure and good teaching. Teachers will be your best friends. You can enjoy your college life to its max. Lots and lots of cultural activities and sports. Still haven't gone to college due to this pandemic but the online classes are going so well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love English so I've joined this course and my parents want me to attend here so I've joined and it's a good college. So we're attending our online class and teaching is very good. We have 66 in our class.

Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

You'll have several scholarship and schemes which will help your college studies. The fees are quite managable for everyone. You'll get good studies and gain cultural knowledge also. It's quite affordable.

Campus Life

College is very good and you'll get the best teachers and friends. No ragging and very helpful senior who could guide you in all circumstances. They'll have several cultural which will bring all the department together.

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
