Remarks
First thing, College is at the centre of the city. College campus too small. In this, you can take admission through Kcet or Comdek or management quota. This is under VTU university and under this university college is in the top and overall ranking in Bangalore of a private college, BIT stand under top 6.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you want to admission in Bangalore i.e IT hub then EEE is the best course. In this course more flexible regarding placement like you can take a placement in software company also. Faculty:student ratio is 1:4. Mostly all faculty are Mtech and teaching is good, not bad. The exam is conducted by university and question will be not tough but checking may be tough.
Placement Experience
You can take part in placement after 6 semesters or you can say the beginning of 7 semesters. Too many companies visited like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Bosch, TCE, Boeing, Capgemini etc. In my time approx 120 company visited but Maximum company are a software company. Percentage required above 60%.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fee approx 2.2 Lacs per year. Hostel fee 1.25 lacs per year. You can take a scholarship if you are domicile of Karnataka. I don't know name scholarship you can check in Karnataka website. Many software companies visited and some core company are also. I placed in Infosys.
Campus Life
Every Manthan fest is organised by the college in the month of March. The library is good you can find too many books for this has made one membership card i.e of free of cost. Kabaddi is organised by retract club once in every six months. And the college has no ground so, if you want to play football or cricket then National College ground is there.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel building is too old otherwise all facilities are good. Meal quality is also good. For North Indian people it takes to adjust. You meet at the warden and enrol. If you want to PG then you can take PG near BMS college or Dayanand Sagar college i.e Kumaraswamy layout.
