Snap is the internal test for all Symbiosis colleges. College also considers CAT scores for initial short-listing. If you have not given CAT then you can appear for Snap.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is updated as per industry requirements. There are excellent Project Guides for helping on live projects. Lot of extra-curricular activities for up- keeping with industry updates. College have excellent connect with Industry. Curriculum is in sync with industry requirements.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, college is having good connect with Industry. Average stipend is 40000. Strong Alumni connect helps in getting good work for interns. Interns efforts are recognised by corporate and it reflects in form of PPOs.

Placement Experience

Placement is quite good. All the good companies visit the campus. Average pay is 6-7 Lacs. The key recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Capejemini, Tata Motors, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon,Vodafone, Airtel, Reliance Industries, Virtusa and many more. Even Microsoft visit the campus.

Orion is the annual college fest. This go on for continuous 48 hours. All the Business school are invited for fest. There are many type of competition and games are organised. Big prize money are given to Winners. Students participate from all the top business schools like IIM, IIT, SSB, ISB etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is affordable in compare to similar colleges. Educational loans are available by many Private and Public banks. There is flexibility to pay semester wise. Due to defence dependent provision fee is very affordable. In similar colleges you may have to spent around 30 to 40 more.

College sponsor for best business idea, also it supports and provide basic Infra for settings up within campus. College is having tie up with many financial institutions and corporates who fund the projects. There are University programs also.

Campus is located at beautiful place. Campus is very active and lively. Male Female Ratio is equal. College have students from all over the the India and there are international students also. Extracurricular activities are driven by Student cells. College students actively participate in social activities. Regular inter-college competitions are organised.

Exam Structure

We have Internal and External assessments. Internal assessment includes Presentations, case study, projects and tests.There are surprise tests, Individual and Groups Assignments, Groups Projects and Individual and Team Presentations on different topics.

The internal faculties are good. They are Ph.D qualified. College have excellent group of visiting faculties. Many faculties are columnist in popular news papers and magazines. Have good knowledge on subject and updated with latest happenings. College organise guest lecture by industry professionals.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

SIMS, Pune: A good option for MBA Finance!

Like all other colleges under Symbiosis University, SIMS too, requires clearing the cut off of the SNAP entrance exam. The cut off is usually 92 percentile. After getting shortlisted for the same, there is a GD, WAT, PI round, where in the further competencies of the candidate is tested. The WAT topics are like complete the story kind, GD topics (if conducted) are mostly from current affairs, and the interview questions are usually about one's personality and self, with few academic questions as well. Life at SIMS

I have applied for 3 colleges under the SYMBIOSIS umbrella namely SIBM, Pune SIMS,Pune SCHMRD, Pune. In SIMS Pune i got admission through the defense quota. If we talk about the criteria of college First you have to give a snap exam after that if you are in the cut-off list then you are invited for GDPI Round which is a very fun loving and learning experience for me. The academic criteria for SIMS is at least 50% marks in graduation and not particular about age.
