I choose to attend this college because this university provides a lot of facilities. The faculties are very cooperative and supportive provided that you should reach out to them. The bad thing is about the administration. They take a lot of time to work on an issue. This university has a very good placement history. And this is in Bhubaneswar so you will get more opportunities here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering because it was my passion. I was always interested to read computer science since childhood. So I'm perfect for this course. All the faculties of our class are very much qualified and have many years of teaching experience. They are very fluent and efficient. The thing is that nobody is going to push you unless you work for yourself. In case of any doubt you have to reach out to the faculties at any time.
Placement Experience
You need to have a GPA above 8 or 8.5 to get into campus placement. The placement of this university is average. The lowest package was 3 LPA and the highest was 14 LPA. The average package was somehow 3.8 LPA. The highest package was provided by Amazon. Many multinational companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture visit us. Almost 80-85 percent of students in a batch are getting the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
This university is a bit costly but less than KIIT. It has a good NIRF ranking in past years. For BTech Computer Science the course fees are about 235000 and hostel fees is 48000 for 3 seated with mess charge of 30000 per annum. The food is not up to mark but you have to adjust. You also have all dishes inside as well as outside the campus.
Campus Life
This university has many clubs and they also ensure students active participation in all the activities. The sports clubs are not much only kabaddi is there. Except this, you can also get all other clubs like for dance, music, art, fashion show, robotics, business and entrepreneur. The campus has also a very huge library from where you can find all sort of books as well as e-books also. All the clubs were run by the students and your seniors will help you with this.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel campuses are having a good wi-fi connection. Rooms are big and spacious and enough for the roommates. Meal quality is not that much good but is adjustable. No water or no electricity issue is there. The fees for a hostel is 48000 per annum excluding mess charge which is 30000 per annum.
