WBJEE, Like every single one my batch mate, i too fall into the prey of this false notion that our college is actually a Govt college. Since WBJEE was conducting for the very first time online counselling, details about the college was hidden.

I find the curriculum as the worst aspect of our college. Its been 10 years and still we are given the minor projects in 3rd year based on VB. No research, except one faculty (HOD) none of them have completed their doctorate. Labs are not at par. No focus on practical implementation of various theory we are taught.

No. Our college do not provide us any kind of internship. It is up to us the student to find our own way and make out a career for our self. Moreover the college tries its best to make you stay at college and do not grant leave for attending any kind of seminar, tech fest(They do not conduct any tech fest), even off-campus or pool campus interview.

Placement and job opportunities have improved considerably, this is one case i would say mainly because of the TPO (Madhumita Paul) the college is doing good. And it is also because of the student's hard work and sheer determination that 3 of our very talented student got placed in Huawei on a pool campus conducted at our college with an annual pay of 7.5 lakhs.

Yes the one who are facing some kind of financial crisis can avail Tuition Fee relaxation, this reduces their fees completely. We can call this as scholarship. But for this we have to reach out to the university and not the college. As the college doesn't help any student with this kind of things.

Exam Structure is poor, but the way the way they conduct the exam is really very good. I guess the faculty releases all their frustration of not getting paid during examination by not letting anyone to cheat or use any kind of malicious way to pursue their examination.

Faculty are the worst of their kind. I could hardly find any faculty member to speak proper English. Even the HOD lacks these kind of soft skill, forget about the lab assistance. Faculty are not at all supportive, i guess they don't even have sufficient knowledge related to their subject nor do they take the pain to at least learn the subject and then help us.
