College with Surity of Placement

There are many good aspects of the bad aspects of this college. Placements are the major attention of this college. It's near to 99 percentage those who sit for the Placements. Majority of the students have more than 2 offers. Avg package varies from 4-5 lakhs. Highest goes beyond 25 lakhs from CS and IT Branch. Lowest is of 3.5 lakhs. Canteen and the surrounding of the campus is another great thing which will attract you. The college needs some improvement in computer infrastructure, exchange programmes and quality of faculties. The admission process is done via two mediums. One through CAP round conducted by Maharashtra Cell and other through management rounds. Cutoff for CS and IT Branch is quite high and goes beyond 99.5 percentile. One joins the Engineering College to learn, to develop and to achieve. All these things you will get here. You will have fun throughout your Engineering with a decent placement which you actually came for. The main reason for my joining was the same.

I have chosen Electrical Engineering. The only reason was that it was a core branch with more jobs. The course curriculum is slightly different and updated from the other universities and Engineering College. Till our batch, it was the same as of other but soon after our batch. Curriculum got changed and focus is on the new technologies. Still, many changes are required in this curriculum. Majority of the faculties are PHD holder. Many faculties have industrial knowledge as well but many faculties are unable to deliver what they actually know. This is the problem with overall Engineering Colleges but this has to be changed. Some faculties are very good teachers. The ratio is approximately 1:20. The exams are timely conducted with proper management. Exams are not that tough to clear but not that easy to score. College follows cutoff rule i.e relative grading. So there are no passing marks decided. For tough subject goes as low for 22 marks out of 100. For easy subject goes max to 40-44.

Many companies come to this college for providing Internships opportunity. Many internal links of facilities are the major way of getting an Internship in the reputed company. Many off-campus Internship drives provide Internship by the name of college itself. This reputation the college has achieved in the past years. Many companies provide a stipend that ranges from 10-60 thousand. Many companies do not provide any stipend. Not all students opt for an internship.

More than 99 percent student get placed every year. More than 200 companies come for Recruitment. Accenture, Capgemini, Birlasoft, L&T Infotech, Amazon, DXC, Infosys, Cognizant and many more reputed companies come here. Average package ranges from 4-5 lakhs per annum. Students opting for further studies also get base from this college.

The fees for general category is near to 1.4 lakhs. And it will remain the same for all the years till graduation with a fluctuation of 20-30 thousand up and down. Maharashtra Government Scholarship is provided to the student's belonging to backward classes. For SC and ST, they have to pay only 10-20 thousand fees per year. For NT it is 20 -25 k and for obc it is 65 k. Another scholarship is provided i.e EBC for the general category students with low family income i.e below 8 lakhs annually. Toppers are awarded special scholarships. Jobs are guaranteed in this college. If you are a smart student with lots of skills you will definitely find the job more than 20-30 lakhs. Mostly it is for CS and IT Branch. If you are an average student, you will easily find a job with a salary of 4-5 lakhs per annum. Some may get 6-7 lakhs as well. The weaker side of students also gets a good package of 3.5 lakhs and some in management field with more than 5 lakhs annually.

Life at campus is of so much fun. There are various fest that occurs in college. The major annual fest is Pratishruti which is conducted in month of February. Some famous bands like The Local train comes in this fest. Technical fest i.e Technovision takes place in the month of September and October. One of the biggest technical fest in central India. Small fests are conducted by different department throughout the year. Ennovate is the third famous fest which is tech-fest conducted by Electronics department. When it comes to library ample of books are available. It ranges from local author to foreign author. Classroom are well maintained with proper seating. Not the high class classroom but it is decent. Udghosh is the annual sports event and nearly major sports are covered in this event. Extra curricular activities are greatly appreciated in this college. There are various societies like SRC,NSS, Rotaract,Tbi cell, Tnp Cell, EDC cell and many more departmental societies.
