Remarks

Ok so first I am going to discuss the admission procedure so I took admission on a merit basis I was checking the cut off list then I saw that I can take admission in this college so I decided to collect all my important documents and I went to college the very next day and thier were a lot of students to take admission so I just waited until my turn comes and showed the sir all my documents and that I have secured necessary marks for the and submitted the fees of around 12000-14000 I don't remember it exactly but around this. So I took admission to this college because I got qualifications on the cut-off basis the college is good at teaching basics but not very good on a hygienic basis also the college crowd is not very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did this course because my elder sibling told me. Faculty-student ratio is a little high but also the faculty is well qualified and i am impressed by thier teaching methods but the term exams could not be taken timely because of a covid pandemic.

Internships Opportunities

I got an internship in unschool with a stipend on basics of my work and got an 8k stipend in two months my work was to lead a sales team and generate sales of online courses which I did and was appreciated for that.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement after the 5th semester I haven't got in for any campus placement but I know that the average campus placement offered is 5.5 lakhs and the highest was like 12lakhs. Around 40-50% of students get campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were between 12k to 14k also I didn't got any scholarship so don't know about any I didn't got any job on campus so there is no stipend also I didn't get any financial assistance so that's it I don't know anything else.

Campus Life

I haven't been to college since march so really don't know much but one thing is for sure that classrooms are unhygienic. All the facilities are provided for sports and extracurricular activities on the campus

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
