I took IPU CET To get the admission . I got a rank of 5140 , i came to know about this college from the coaching institutes . Even my friends suggested to go for this college . It rank very good in the data quest magazines.
Internships Opportunities
No, The college did not provide any internship. we got 2 months summer holidays for the internship and we have to find out ourselves to run and go out for some good internships and submit the reports in the college.
Placement Experience
The Placement for Computer Science Engineering students and Electronics and Instrumentation students is quite good especially for Computer science students. They will get definately 2 offers from the companies. Some Big names like infosys , accenture , HCL , CSC and other groups hire from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of technology.
College Events
The events usually the college fest which supposed to be good one as i never participated nor went to the college fest. But as per the other students they usually say it was a good event every year in the month of i guess november.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is on the higher side from my point of you. If we calculate for hostels and study fees it will take around 2 lacs per year excluding students own expenses. This is the fees structure in the time of my graduation so do not know about the present scenario of the fees details.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took education loan for the complete study of mine in the college, scholarship is offered to students scored very good marks in the semsters and top the university.
Exam Structure
The Exams are always a hectic time for me. The syllabus is more and time for exam is less. One have to study alot for the exam. As there is a rule for Year back in which one has to cleared 50 % of subjects in one year otherwise he/she will be remained in the same year. The sessional exam did not put more pressure but the semester exam put alot of pressure.
Admission
There was a entrance test named IPU CET, the entrance was ok and i got 5140 rank in the entrance and got admission under army quota (wards of ex servicemen) in the college. After the exam , results declared very late. After the result immediately counselling starts because results declared very late. The counselling process is quite long and you have to wait for more time to get admission.
Faculty
The faculty is well educated. The behaviour is upto the mark of the faculty. They are helpful and will help you in the times of need especially during project time when you need them the most. The Teaching of them is rated again 7 out of 10 but students should understand that they have to work harder in order to become a good engineer .
