Remarks
The college has good faculty of science and is well connected with bus and metro. Fees are also nominal thus giving underprivileged students to attend regular college. It has all the facilities and popular societies for students. Thus a nice place to persue higher studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
BSc Maths Hons gives a nice boost for further career options and the course itself is very interesting. There are 50-60 students in a class and the teachers are well qualified. Most of them are PhD holders and have good command over the subject. The teachers are cooperative so if you study well you can score well in exams.
Placement Experience
Many companies approach students for employment opportunities and there is a proper placement cell dedicated for this work. There are ample opportunities available after graduation in maths honours. One could go for higher studies or may turn to teach career for this subject. Many people prepare for government exams and competitive exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college are very nominal thus giving chance to students from rural backgrounds to study here in Delhi The college also provides some scholarship prizes and I have seen many cases in which the whole fees were refunded.
Campus Life
The college organises the annual fest and many stars and popular chief guests are invited here. Deshbandhu has one of the biggest libraries in the DU so no issues with books in the library. There are many sports teams and their respective societies most of which are run by students. SABRANG is the drama society here which is quite popular.
