Remarks
I chose to attend this college because of covid. The college is near my location. My father also studied in this college. He recommended it to me. The college union is strong in this college and the college is also known for sports and other extracurricular activities. The admission process was easy due to the Open Window allotment method by government. I got admission on 30th November 2020. Despite covid restrictions, teachers have started online classes and covered some of the classes. They also promise to complete all the portions and exams within three academic years as per norm.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course of Botany because of my love for nature and travel and my interest in plant and animal life. The faculty members (teachers) are very helpful and actively resolve doubts and encourage interactive classes. Each module is covered by a different teacher. The faculty: student ratio is 1:32 per class. The teachers are with years of experience and understanding. The teaching method is novel for us and them but we are able to cope effectively. I am a first-year student and am yet to face the exams.
Placement Experience
I don't know about campus placement in our college. My plan is to complete the BSc Botany course and do some environment-related work. The college offers several courses and imminent teaching. Those who learn with their heart and put the effort into their task will find a job somewhere.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is simple. The term fee is 1050. A special fee is 610. The application fee is 50. Parent-Teacher Association fund is 3000. CM fund is 360. The miscellaneous fee is 50 and Science stream fee is 550 more. Total of 5670. This is for a term. Cost of study is high everywhere especially if you don't have a scholarship.
Campus Life
This year of Covid - 19 Pandemic has not allowed us to attend college. The government has decided to reopen college on January 4th. This might also be cancelled due to increasing covid patients. The Sree Krishna Library has availability of much wide range of books. The college is also known for sports and extracurricular activities.
