JEE-118 and boards 79. This is one of the best colleges for computer engineering and the college has a lot of extra curriculum.

The course curriculum is very dry. There is no practical application for the theory we learn. The significance of the theory is not taught. More emphasis is given to memorisation rather than developing skills like speaking confidently and all. This is the biggest drawback of the curriculum.

We don't have internships as such in our college. A number of companies have come to our college to recruit. But they mostly recruit for jobs and not internships.

A lot of famous companies such as Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Direct I, TCS, Accenture visit our college every year. The first 3 companies screen the candidates thoroughly and select a few. The latter don't have a screening process and select most of the students.

I am a part of the event management committee. We have 4 major events. CRMD, , Euphoria and Athlos. The first one is a national level debate. The second one is a major technical event, euphoria is a cultural event and Athlos is our main sports event.

Our fees is approximately 1.2 lakhs per annum which is quite a lot. But it's justified for the teaching and the amazing maintenance of the college campus. There are options for TWFS an initiative to reduce fees for families with a combined income of 1 lpa.

I am not aware of any loans given to the students but scholarships are provided to the bright students of our class and that's justified.

There's no ragging in my college. Everyone here has an open mind and people like to mix around. The events organised by the college have huge amounts of participation by the students. There is no discrimination on the basis of race or religion. The sex ratio is pretty balanced.

The exams happen every semester. Units are held once a month. Submissions happen weekly so it becomes hectic along with completing assignments and lab manuals and all. The unit tests are easier compared to the semester exams. Mumbai university corrects papers horribly. Many of my smart friends failed due to their horrible corrections.

I got into the college through minority quota this was given to us before the open quota was given. When the provisional list was released I was in the top 20 so I was certain that I would get here. The cut off for minority computer engineering in this college is 80 percentile.

The faculty is very helpful and polite. They make attempts to help students understand the subject better. But the curriculum falls short of the scope of teaching and it also leads to disinterest in learning. A lot of assignments are also given which are simply meaningless.
