Entrance Preview
I took MHT-CET for my engineering entrance. I scored 100 in it. I opted Pillai college because many of my seniors were in this college and they gave me a positive review about it. They told me about the staff and professors who are very nice and helpful.Many of the professors here are PHD's and very well educated.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is designed according to the mumbai university syllabus. It is very well competitive and of high standards.The professors in my college are so good that we feel comfortable asking them any doubts and get them cleared. So we all students are less burdened from the first year itself.All the professors are very co-operative.
Internships Opportunities
No, our college does not provide internship for B.E students. But yes after completing our BE they do provide jobs in our college itself.
Placement Experience
As i have mentioned earlier my seniors have gave me a positive report about my PILLAI college. The first thing they told me is about placements which are truly outstanding. The placement co-ordinator is really very good and brings lot of companies to our college.
College Events
Our college has engineering, architecture and management department. We have our college fest together.We have technical fest and cultural fest in our college.Our college has the biggest festival in navi mumbai which is called as ALEGRIA. It is the festival of joy.We all students participate in various events.Each year we have various themes for the fest.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is very good.I would say it is neither hectic nor chilled out. We need to do the things time to time and for that the professors are very much ready for helping us out. There were two unit exams conducted and even practical exams we had for practise. The college infrastructure is very good and there are numerous computers and we feel happy to work on it.
Admission
I went through normal CAP rounds for engineering admissions. In this CAP round one needs to go through the global admission process. We all have to fill the college names list and then we get admits according to the highest marks scored. In my first CAP round i had got admit from saraswati college. Then in my second CAP round i got PILLAI institute.
