Remarks

Well, it was a random choice as I was running out of time but thank god even if I chose it randomly, it really turned out to be a great college like teaching staff is of great help, they keep supporting you and helping you and even they keep encouraging you. Good placements and other facilities too. Other than all these, the only cons would be the canteen, as it doesn't exist, like it does but still, it's useless.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I found it a little interesting, like the share market part and trading too. And later on, our professors made it more interesting, by explaining each and every detail in a very creative manner, which was so fun. Well thanks to them, financial markets wouldn't have been this easier. We had more than 8 professors teaching us including our homeroom professor and Our HOD of BFM. There were no term exams but mock tests and everything. Just final exams were conducted along with internal exams. And they used to be quite difficult but easy to pass as we used to remember everything our professors explained to us.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement was in Motilal Oswal and Wipro and others too. we were offered with very basic pay, but as a fresher it was fine. Company profiles were quite good, but they were specifically for fully graduated students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, 25,250 rs is too much, and a large no. of students couldn't afford this much and used to have extreme financial issues. Most of my batch mates used to work part-time and even full time. So the fees structure would be a con too.

Campus Life

4.5

'Khwaish' was our annual fest and it used to be held in December of every year. The best thing about our fest was our teamwork, like us working all together to make others as well as ourselves happy. Sports day were held in January, including yoga day and others too. we had our own Sharma college account on Instagram.

Interview Experience

5

Well as an active student, I used to participate in a hell lot of things and it used to be fun to know more new things. And learning is quite fun like doesn't wanna know new things. Well everyone does! Group discussion sessions used to hold, and there we used to discuss the share market and financial markets. During interviews, our professors used to help us to prepare for it.

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
