Entrance Preview

Entrance Exam- WBJEE, Score- 94. Techno india don't need any recognition to get recognised by people of WB and surrounded states. The name itself is a brand and being a part of it is a great achievement in itself .

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure was good but if you will talk about research and all, this college is nowhere . You can get good marks by studying normally like 1-2 hours will be enough . Apart from this if you have interest in Research , you have more than enough time to prepare for this.

Internships Opportunities

No, I never came across anything like internship. They provide us with the training in different companies but never got any internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

Placements & job opportunities are Good. MNCs like TCS, IBM , Accenture and many more companies are common visitors and they will mass recruit depend upon the market. if the market is good, there were times where every student will get job and few wil get more than 2.

College Events

We have freshers party and a fest every year. Freshers party will be in 1st sem when 1st year folks will come and all the senior folks will contribute money among themselves and some contribution from college , we will welcome our Juniors. Fest is the time , we will give a farewell to our final year students. Fest will be for 4 days,satrting 2 days will be technical fest following by cultural fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there were students who were getting some scholarship and those were pretty good amount. I never came across any type of scholarship so i don't have much idea in this.

Alumni/Alumna

No idea about alumni network. But yes, senior students are helpful and they never let us feel that we don't have any alumni. Our senior students were our alumni in our beginners day.

Exam Structure

If you will talk about the Labs, college have pretty good components who are new or latest in the market. If you will talk about Exams , on every exam there will be externals who will be coming for interrogation and any type of violation or indiscipline will cause a serious injury to your career.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
