Honest College Opinion

College is too good honestly I haven't felt any problem still now. Fees around 4 lakhs for this BTech course & you have the choice to pay in instalments per 6 months. It is similar to any other colleges. For TFW & EWS category students, the fee is too low. In this Covid situation, this college is asking for fees now that is not good. I think it should be considered for some time in this pandemic condition. By the results of JEE Main, I got this college. You can get admission by attempting WBJEE & JEE on basis of rank. The Environment around this college is the reason for selecting this college. This institution is located in hilly high mountain & surrounded by full of greenery.

This college is affiliated to MAKAUT. Total course is separated into 8 semesters. The University takes sem exams every 6 months. No. of seminars & events organised by college authorities & clubs. Class time is of 45 minutes. In a day max of 6-7 classes. College opens at 10am & close at 5pm. All faculties are too knowledgeable. They provide well labs. If students have doubt, we contact them via WhatsApp or telegram. Term Placement is good in CSE & IT as we have heard from seniors. There is Placement Cell they help really harder to students. In Computer science, the gender ratio is 5:3 but in other branches no. Of girls are too low compared to boys like civil engineering. The best thing is There is Anti-ragging Cell in our college & Ragging is banned here (prohibited).

Many of the big product based tech giants came here for campus placement like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini & TCS, intel also. Off-campus in-sense they provide internships as a data analyst on the basis of cracking competitive programming challenges & interviews and giving stipend of Rs.15000-20000/month to the students.

There are internships available in 3rd year to students for technical & non-technical also. Students become eligible from 6th-7th sem to sit from campus placement TCS, Adobe, Wipro & Infosys as many companies visited during campus placement. The Average of 3-5 lakhs job offers & high of 8-9 lakhs this year. Around 40-45% of students get placed every year in campus placement. Highest package is 38 lakhs in Microsoft is mentioned on the college website as per off-campus placement. Plans after getting a degree to pursue higher studies.

As I have already written Cost of study is comparatively low as compared to other engineering colleges around 1 lakhs per year & around 4 lakh per course. Scholarships that are addressable are through NSP for lower category students & minorities as per my knowledge. The state board loan is also acceptable to college as education loan that I have opted & many of my friends get education loan facility. There are many events organised in every semester as in year in college such as Technical Festival Science Project Display, Independence Day, Science Day & Engineering Day as well as many. Everyone participation is not so compulsory but all love to join & explore and enjoy themselves. There are events performed wall magazine, dancing, singing and many of seminars are organised. VIP Personalities came here for giving lectures. In CSE We have a social community, CES (Computer Engineer Society) & there is also Art and Craft society on the way & Specially Photography Clubs running smoothly and I'm part of it. There is a gym facility also for students which is entry acceptable from 2nd year. There is a Cricket Academy also cricket lovers & ones they want to become good cricket they can join cricket academy as per their own charge. There are Facebook & Instagram groups handled by current students & by some authorities. Seniors helping us a lot by sharing their placement experiences.
