Good college with affordable fee structure.

I chose this college because it has a good reputation since its inception in 1956. I got admission through spot round counseling and merit was prepared based on 12th marks. I preferred this college over other colleges bcz it gives affordable quality education. Since I couldn't make it to IIT/NIT. This college seemed best option to me. The college has all kinds of modern facilities with good infrastructure. It has a well-established computer center, a Central library and a sports complex. College is based on 88 acres of lush green campus. It has its own radio station. It is an autonomous college under PTU. So syllabus is quite up to date with modern technologies. Our college provides financial support to needy ones. Placement is average here. With most of the students getting placed in mass recruitment. Some students crack big companies too. Training and Placement cell is very active and with every passing year number of companies coming for recruitment is increasing.

The course curriculum is quite good and is updated quite often. Since it is an autonomous college, so faculty members set their syllabus. Teachers are good. Some are quite experienced while some are new. I am giving my midterm test online. It is done on time.

Yes. College is well known for its industrial training. You get industrial exposure after your first year itself. Industrial training is mandatory and needed to complete your degree as it has some credits in the course.

Training and placement cell of the college is very attractive and try to invite many companies. Our placement is okayish. Many students get placed at an avg package of 3.5-4.5 lakh.Many students opt for higher studies in Canada

The fee structure is quite affordable. I pay 140k rupees per year along with hostels and mess. There are many scholarships if you have scored good you can avail them. This will reduce your tuition fee. There is a cooperative mess.

Life is quite awesome here. The college has big grounds, well-established sports infra. Lush green campus and good places to hangout. College is located in the middle of the city so life is not monotonous. You can explore many things.

There is a total of 5 hostels. The hostel fee is quite affordable. There is a cooperative mess run by the students themselves. Food quality is okay. Registration process is very easy, you just need to ask the hostel warden to Register yourself.
