There is an opportunity in hand but one needs to grab it with both hands.

It's an IIM. The brand name comes along with your life long. The curriculum and opportunities are plenty. I choose IIM Kashipur due to its location which has scenic beauty. Negative points about the college: Increased batch size may hamper placements especially in a covid scenario. multiple: MBAforum, IMS, Cetking etc.

The faculties are decent. The faculty strength has been increased this year. All the professors are PhD's. Also many have industrial experience. Term exams are always conducted on-time and the difficulty level is medium-to-difficult.

Internship opportunities are plenty although the policies make it complicated to ensure enough that you might not get your desired profile always because once you get a placement you cannot get double opportunities. Although it makes you enough capable to get the best placements on your own with enough network.

Campus placements are decent enough. The average is increasing year on year. With the completion of 10 years to the institute, the alumni base is increasing year on year and hence the quality of placements is expected to increase exponentially year on year. There are promised 100 percent placements every year although the low go as down as 8 LPA for a few set of students.

The fees have been increased this year itself. The total cost to study with all expenses will be around 17 lakh. The need-based and merit-based scholarship is given to applicants. The campus jobs are this year not that great figures but yes as the institute is now a 10 years old institute with a decent alumni base we expect to have great placement season coming years starting 2021-2022.

Agnitraya - Annual fest conducted at IIM Kashipur. It's a PAN-India fest where people participate from across India. All academic clubs and interest based clubs of the college organize several competitions with attractive prize money.

Facilities are very good. The hostel rooms are double sharing but decent enough space and foster deeper relationships amongst the batchmates especially. Mess quality is best. every month the menu keeps shuffling and special care is taken about the quality of food and variety of food. It is 15000 rupees approx for a tri-semester.

Topics can be current affairs as well as abstract topics. Interview questions range from personal interview to work experience and favourite subjects based on backgrounds. Admission criterion defers with the admission policy of every college. There is usually a sectional cutoff and weightage to several aspects like work experience and gender diversity, academic diversity etc.
