The good college of engineering

Our college was very good in education and teaching wise and has taught has practical knowledge in electrical engineering There are also many other courses in engineering like Computer and IT engineering, electronics engineering and electronic and telecommunications engineering. There were many extra circular activities to take part in paper publishing competition, fests like rhythm where they were many fun days and games and also dance and drama performance you can showcase your talent. There were also many amenities like swimming pool and gym in college. There are also many industrial visits in every year of engineering to many different places to get also exposure to industry things.

The course of electrical engineering was very good and we were provided with many opportunities to showcase our talent with paper presentation competition and final year project competition. Also the faculty was very good which also taught us many practical things and provided knowledge of electrical engineering and what is the current things required in the industry and also one-day industrial visits also happen in every sem to get the industry insights. The qualifications of faculty were MTech in electrical engineering and also many teachers were pursuing PhD. The term exams were not that easy as many papers were difficult and tested our knowledge in electrical in depth.

The campus placement was decent. As the highest placement was in Computer Engineering and IT engineering. Then it was in electronics and electrical engineering. As there were 15-20 companies that came in the college for the various streams of engineering. The highest placement was around 5 lac per annum in computer engineering and in electrical engineering was 3.5 lacs. My plan was to pursue an MBA so I am preparing for entrance exams in MBA.

The fees were very less as compared to many engineering colleges as it was less than most of the engineering colleges. There was also merit-based scholarship and also those students who were from category had to apply for EWS and they get half fees back so there were many opportunities.

The fest was rhythm the cultural fest (was in March) and the technical fest was technovaza fests (odd sem in September) There were all the books available which we wanted during exams time. The amenities in the classroom was chalk, blackboard and everything was there the fans and lights and benches. There was the main sports event the sports week the main event which happens for 3 days there were many no of games where each class would take part in various sports which would happen. 1 cricket, football, shotput, 400m race, relay, volleyball, ring football, carrom, chess championship, table tennis and many other sports. There were clubs called as IEEE committee, techfest committee and rhythm cultural fest committee and Ganapati which comes in our college every year so separate committee for that.
