My experience

This college takes the only candidate belongs who comes of defence background, as the college is run by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). As it is mentioned here that AWES is part of this institution so, the rules and regulations are bit strict but the students are comfortable with that. The faculty is very kind and everything works in a systematic way, we celebrate, we enjoy, we fall, we rise, but the best things are we get many things to learn. From the very first day, they made this clear that we are more like professional now and fewer students so, we are responsible for our development but still they work on the overall development of the students by organizing various activities. I got to know about this college from my cousin who has been a part of this institution for the same course. We are not yet fortunate enough to go for offline classes but we are hoping to visit the campus as soon as possible. While the college has organized for GD and PI round as part of the selection.

We have joined late that's why we are up here with a lot of burdens and have to follow a hectic schedule of classes but with activities and assignments which works as a relaxing part for us, we are able to cope up with the syllabus. We have good support from faculty such that per 15 students there is a mentor who is available to help in various circumstances. Faculty shared about themselves their achievements which usually inspire students. Sometimes it feels like boring in online classes. We miss the essence of a classroom.

We joined our college from Nov 2020 and till Jan 2021 the faculty themselves have given the opportunity of 2 internships. We could go for another internship also but we have not yet able to be apart of any internships. College provide mails regarding the importance of internship and many guest lecture regarding gender equality, stocks, etc are also provided which give the certificate to students.

We have an average package of 4.5 lakh and highest which is disclosed by faculty was around 10 lakh. If the placement doesn't work then we should be capable enough to go for walk-in interviews. They update us with internships which helps to grow cv of students.

Fees are good for every student as thus college is only for candidates who come of defence background so, the army quota works over here. We have applied for scholarships too, which says that they will provide approx 30k per semester. Including hostel, fees total a candidate has to pay off 4.7 lakh approximately.

Life at the campus would be fantastic but we were not yet able to reach their due to pandemic but we are divided into the syndicate and each syndicate consist of 6 students and while performing any activities or presentations the syndicate were asked to perform. Book bank has an option to be delivered to our homes while they ask for charges for sending them but our professor provides the notes of their respective topics and activities.

When I went for my GD and PI their I visited the hostel and met seniors too they told us about the facilities provided in the hostel but we have not yet lived their so, it will be hard for a fresher to brief about the hostel but the room was looking neat and clean and everything was well arranged. We have options for single as well as a double room in the hostel and in the same building we have our mess. Be careful about the rules as it is mentioned that after 9 'o clock the gates of the hostel are closed.

We were asked for gd and pi and few of the students we able to reach the campus for this process but few of them were not able to reach because of the Lockdown, so the college just gave them chance to directly join the college. When I went there for gd and pi they were very welcoming few candidates were nervous but the faculty just asked all of us to be comfortable and at the end of the process, we were asked to have some food from hostel mess.
