CET Exams were to get a seat in SDM college of Engineering, one of the best college in Karnataka State. Experience of the teachers, Discipline in the college, Near to home town made me to select this college.

Electives were given to us to select from wide range of subjects in the selections. Being an ECE student i had taken Computer Management, OS concepts as electives during my tenure. The electives selected has provided us knowledge to handle software jobs in the competitive companies.

No our college hasn't provided any internship to us. I guess during our year of study only few colleges had that facility. But am sure now the college has that facility which helps students to have Industry experience in pratical way.

During our period of studies, Campus placements were conducted in zonal wise. That means along with our college students other college students like Hubli, Bagalkot, And other nearby college students used to take part in the campus selections. This makes all the students to be prepared for the competitive world waiting for us outside the college steps.

College had many events conducted in regular basis, this helps students to make different friends, obviously girl friends. Yearly college day celebrations, paper presentation, college fests and many more. Yearly college fests were big proportion of celebrations, we used to have friends from other colleges as well to participate during celebrations.

It is very feasible. As i had opted for Mechanical course during CET seat section process, after my first year of completion, based on the MERIT I had got an opportunity to select ECE course. Other colleges would easily take 75000 to one lakh for that but my college took only the Fees prescribed from university that was just 8 or 9 thousand rupees

No. Being General category we weren't provided any scholarships. It ws only for SS ST candidates. I am against these kind of rules in all the colleges. Scholarships should be decided based on their parental income but not based on Castes.

We had a very big campus with lot of colourful people around. We had all required stuff needed to students somethings like ATMs, Bakery, Food stalls, Canteens, Nice parks to hang out with friends, Hostels within the campus, very good advantages having hostel within college premises.

SDM college of engineering hostel is one of the best hostel in the state. Awesome rooms, Awesome discipline, Awesme facilities, etc. Rooms were big enough to have 3 people in it. I guess now they hav facility of single rooms or twin sharing also. Hostel food was not that bad, it was quiet good compared to other colleges.

When we studied there wasn't any alumini formed. But now am part of our college alumini group, this group, network acts like Facebook connecting all students across different batches. Posting the openings in this alumini page from any group members. This helps students to get in touch with their seniors, get to knw abt jib postings etc.

We had regular exams semester wise, between final exams we had preparatory tests held by the college management. These preparatory exams were helpful to secure good marks in final exams. But still we had nice breaks between the exams which allowed us to enjoy our college life to core. Happy to being part of that life.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test - CET exams were taken, secured the rank within 8000, that made me eligible to select this college and course in this college. I have selected this college from seat selection process conducted in Bangalore. CET team would call students based in their ranks and selection would happen in rank order wise.

The one word that can be given to the faculty is BEST WORLD-CLASS. All the professors has wide range of experience and some of them had industry range of experience carried with them, Nevertheless to say that helps the students with their partical solutions to any problems.
