It had the best international exposure among all baby IIMs. Lots of Entrepreneurship Opportunities. Incubation Centre is also there and it was very near to my hometown and an International Tourist Destination. A safe pilgrimage and holy place, Bodh Gaya where this institution is.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Operations course curriculum here covers most of the core operations subjects such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, supply chain modelling, Production and inventory control, Operations Strategy, and a lot of others. It also has some of the latest trends in Operations as a subject like HealthCare Operations and Waste Management.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide summer internships for all students. Companies visit from all the diverse range of sectors and from various domains. Some students bagged internships in companies such as JP Morgan, KPMG, etc.
Placement Experience
The placement is good. For my batch, the average will be around 11-12 LPA. The highest package offered was around 50lpa. Apart from these companies from a diverse range of sectors visits the campus. For summer internships, the opportunities are nonetheless with some of the student bagging internships in JP Morgan, KPMG etc
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for my batch (2019-21) is around 10.5 lacs excluding the mess fee. For the 2020-2022 batch, the fee has a hike of around 1 lacs. Financial aid and scholarship are also there for students in low-income groups and on the basis of category.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is too hectics. Committees, clubs, student-driven activities, classes, assignments, projects, and so on. But it's totally worth it and you will enjoy it. I am a part of the E-Cell of our college and hence I am involved in a lot of activities such as organizing the Annual Entrepreneurship Summit of our college, TEDx IIM Bodh Gaya, E-Talks, Incubation Centre activities, etc. Also, Our Institue has a Leadership Summit, HR Conclave, Elegante- the annual cultural fest of our college. There are lots of activities where you will get to interact with your peers and also with some of the best industry leaders
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has washing machines, mess, and canteen facility, wifi, playing arena where you can play basketball, badminton, volleyball. Apart from these, there are gym facilities, table tennis and 24/7 power supply with a high-speed internet connection
Interview Experience
The admission process consisted of CAT (Common Admission Test), WAT (Written Ability Test), and PI(Personal Interview). Shortlisting for the WAT and PI was done on the basis of CAT score, academic profile, worked, and other relevant professional qualifications. WAT topics are mostly based on current affairs and sometimes abstract. The interview is totally based on your profile and about your past workex if you had otherwise your past education and your interests, hobbies and typical HR questions, etc.
