My review on UEM, Kolkata

If you want to build your career in programming and get a job after 4 years then this is the right college for you. This college provides everything you will need for a farther degree as well as for job during placement. IEMJEE is the university exam to get into this college. But if you have sat for the all India engineering exam that is JEE Main or the state exam WBJEE and have good marks then also you can get into the college. As mentioned earlier I want to build my career in programming and looking for higher studies that are the reason for me for selecting this college. Not only that transportation is quite good. Uem.edu and iemcrp are the official websites taken care of by the college and also provides every detail you will need for this college.

I have interest in programming and coding and want to implement them in real life and this college provides proper training to get your programming skills stronger and also gives the opportunity to showcase the talent that is why I have opted for this college. Faculties are good in number and also the student. The stands for almost 53:47 that is students are to teachers ratio. Faculties are well qualified in their respective fields and have their completed masters degree. The teaching style is so simple that you will get to understand everything very easily. Two-term exams are taken per semester so basically, you need to sit for four-term exams every year and they are easy to pass if you read the materials properly and definitely follow the class properly.

Definitely from the 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements that are the beginning of 4th year. The highest number of offers got by a student till now is 7 and the average is from 1 to 2 job offers by students. TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Adobe, Infosys, Cognizant and many other companies visit every year. 72 lakhs per annum is the highest package got till date by a student and the average is 4-5 lakhs per annum. The placement record is excellent almost every student get a job during placement making it to around 995. My plan is to do farther study on programming basically on my field.

According to me the facilities that you will be getting and the surety of getting placed 65,000 INR is worth it per semester that stands for 1,30,000 per year provided that you need to pay 1,000 INR for each semester that is to sit for the semester exams. For payment, every mode is applicable through online or NEFT anything. Currently, the government scholarships are valid here and also they provide scholarships to those who have above 85% marks in their 12th grade.

Annual fest and the tech fest both are open for every year students and anyone can participate. The annual fest is the Edu Fest organized in the month of February, and it is really exciting and filled with lots of joy. Tech Fest is the Smart Maker's Festival held during January where you can showcase your skills through your projects. Not only that various kinds of tech-based competitions go on every year like the Robotics, Hackathon and many more. The library is filled with every kind of books you will require and in quite a good number so available for everyone. The best part is that you can avail the library anytime it remains open for 24 hours. Classrooms are well spaced and have good ventilation. Projectors and microphones are provided in every classroom. There is a common AV hall too. Every kind of sporting event competition takes place and for the annual sports day, a stadium is booked. Singing, drawing and there are many more clubs which the students look after.
