Remarks

College infrastructure was really good. I think it's the biggest campus of IP University and it's an 'A' grade college affiliated to GGSIPU. The admission process is very simple. You only have to go through the IPU CET entrance exam and then pay the allotment fees to lock the college you want or the college you are getting on that Rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCA is a 3-year management course which will help you to become a software developer in Top MNC's like TCS, Infosys etc. If you are really into coding and designing then go for this course. Faculty is great and helpful and they are all above 10 years+ experience.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offer internships as far as I know. TCS, Infosys and BYZU's offers various post like assistant software programmer, executive officer etc. I have not yet managed to do an internship but my seniors told me about all this.

Placement Experience

You can get placements in the last year of your respective courses and m internships are also offered by various companies like TCS, Infosys, BYZU's etc. You need to get above 7 cups or 70% marks to sit in the placements for all the companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was around 55-60k in the first year when I was enrolled but now as I know it has risen up to 70k. Fees are always interim and it can be hiked as per IPU rules. Scholarships are provided in AKTU for B.Tech and other courses.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is great as it contains a huge playground and big cafeteria and 2-3 small stalls too inside the campus itself. There are many sports to relieve your stress like basketball, badminton and football etc. There are two libraries as far as I know. One is in the BTech department and one in management building of IPU.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
