My college experience

College provides excellent placement which every student wants to get after completion of the degree. Not only that there is no sort of ragging and if it happens then the student who will be the suspect will be punished badly. Besides that, you can explore yourself as you will get many opportunities in different aspects. You can apply for the college if you have good percentile in JEE Main and WBJEE. But if you qualify IEMJEE then also you are eligible to get admission. The process of admission generally starts from the beginning of the month of July. I am basically looking for a placement and the college has an excellent placement record so I was recommended by one of my uncle who is also in this teaching line of engineering students. I have basically opted for this course because I love the subject of Computer Science and I have a good amount of interest in exploring new technologies and inventions. Also, there is a lot of opportunity in this field to get a job. Students are huge in number. Our 2019 batch has almost 1000+ students although compared to the students the strength of teachers are less in number it is like 75:25 the ratio count. The faculties are highly qualified. They have their M.Tech or PhD degree in their respective fields. The teaching method of the teachers is excellent making you understand in friendly and the easiest way. In each semester two-term exams are taken named as term-I and term-II. So all total four-term exams per year. If you follow the teacher's lecture then easily you can pass the exam.

From the beginning of the fourth year that is from the 7th semester itself, students can sit for the campus placement. CTS, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, E-Litmus, Adobe and many other companies visit every year for campus placement. 36 lakhs per annum is the highest package recorded till now from this college. Average package ranges from 4-5 lakhs per annum. As mentioned earlier I have selected this college because of the excellent placement record and the percentage of students getting placed is around 97%. After getting the degree my focus will be to gain experience by working in a company and later completing my M.Tech degree.

Rs 65,000 per semester is what you need to pay. This may increase in the upcoming years. You pay by whichever method you like. But you need to pay the fees before 10th January and 10th July every year. Currently, if you have 85% and above in your 12th board exam college provides the scholarship. And the other government scholarships are applicable.

Edu-Fest is the name of the annual fest held during the month of around January-February. There are many tech-fest conducted every year like Smart Maker's Festival, Hackathon, Ureckon and many workshops are conducted too. Every type and variety of books can be found in the library and you can use it at any time of the day and at any time of the year as it is always open. Classrooms are not congested and are extremely clean. Every classroom has a green board, microphone and projector. Sports takes place in the month of January and it takes place outside the college campus but somewhere near a stadium. Although there are many clubs like singing. painting, dancing and other clubs but the main control are in the hands of the respective teachers.
