Remarks
Pros: i) Good Campus. ii) Excellent International collaborations. iii) Pedagogy. Cons: i) Less Transparency in processes within college. ii) Placements are not audited. iii) Management is not proactive. The process involves the CAT exam followed by a GD-PI. CAT takes place in last month of November, whose results are generally out in 1st week of Jan, after a week or two, shortlists are out for students who are eligible for GDPI, after that, a composite score is calculated using GDPI scores, CAT scores and your academic profile. There are separate points for gender and academic diversity. 3) Refer to the Pros mentioned above. Among the new IIMs, it can be ranked above Rohtak, Kashipur and Ranchi. 4) Pagalguy.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA is a good degree to have considering that all the process in any corporate work in synergy and not in silos. Also, it is one degree which helps you develop your personality apart from improving your technical knowledge. The faculty-student ratio is 1: 66. Faculties generally use the following method to teach: 20 lectures per term for a full credit subject, 10 for half credit. Use of case studies along with prescribed books and pots. Evaluation involves quizzes, end term, midterm and a project along with class participation. Exams happen after 10 lectures or 40 days and involve relative grading.
Internships Opportunities
There are many short term projects which can be opted if you have the specified bandwidth. SIP is below par with most of the companies being startups offering sales and marketing roles. If you get a SIP they don't announce it at that time, there is very less transparency as far as the process is concerned.
Placement Experience
Placements are pathetic too be honest, most of the companies for SIP are startups paying 10K- 20k. Expect only 10 renowned companies which will include Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Cognizant, Asian Paints, United Breweries, Kotak Mahindra etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees are 14,20,400 and are paid in 6 instalments(just before the start of each term). Scholarships are provided to economically challenged students. There is a Summer Internship Program after 1st year and final placements after the end of 2nd year.
