Remarks
Good: It had its own campus. It is 10 years old. It provides 100 percent placement. Average package more than 15 lakhs. Very diverse batch. Good gender ratio, Good faculty, International immersion. Bad: It is one of the newer IIMs so not a very good aum base, Very stringent admission procedures.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 6 trimesters. The student-faculty ratio is too good. Individual attention is given. Every faculty had a PhD. The pedagogy is very unique and every course is taken via case studies. We have midterms, end terms, surprise quizzes and assignments.
Internships Opportunities
Also, for internships there a pool of companies that visit IIM Raipur, and no first-year students are left without an internship. Without a summer internship, the students are not allowed to go to the second year. The average Stipend is around 80,000 for the last year.
Placement Experience
From the 3rd trimester, we are eligible for campus placements. More than 130 companies visit the campus and make multiple offers fro various domains. Highest package: 48,00,000, Average Package: 15,00,000. It is always a hundred percent placement in IIM Raipur.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees are around 14,20,000/- which has to be paid in six equal instalments. Most people take loans to pay this fee. The banks provide exclusive scholar loans which are very convenient to pay back. Also, there are summer internship opportunities that provide very good stipend.
Campus Life
Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we were not onboarded by the college administration. Though the second-year students are now on campus and we have single bed facility and individual washrooms. We have a huge hostel block with various sports facilities.
Interview Experience
There was no group discussion, but there were personal interviews and a written test. The personal interviews went well for me where they asked me questions about the world and politics and some personal questions The interview lasted for more than fifty minutes.
