Remarks
VIT's system and curriculum are entirely unique and student-friendly. Students frame their own timetable. Not only in academics, but they also concentrate on extracurriculars and maintain clubs where students join and learn stuff based on their interests. It's a highly reputed institution and 100% placements are ensured. It's a multicultural society as students from all over India study there. The Admission process of 2020 was little different from previous years due to the pandemic and VITEEE was not conducted. Students with good cut-off got the course they wished.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in programming, and also had a thought to study a course related to computers. 60 students are handled by 1 faculty. Mostly all the faculties have a doctoral degree and they teach well. Enough time was provided for every internal and semester exams.
Placement Experience
Sorry, I'm the first-year student but I've heard good reviews about placements. 60 LPA was the highest package by google and 6 LPA is the lowest. Mostly students with good percentage are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's little high from other colleges in Chennai. I'm in first-year, so I have no idea about placements, but there are many scholarship programs that are going on always for all students. And apart from this hostel fee is literally too high.
Campus Life
Due to pandemic, I haven't gone to college still, but I have heard seniors saying that reference books are available in the library and can be xerox-ed. Techathon and other fests are always happening in VIT. Event management, student welfare clubs etc are managed by students.
