My personal feedback and review on my college UEMK

Besides providing a good education college gives you the guarantee to get placed in on-campus placement and gives full training for that. The location is extremely good as there is no traffic issue and in a safe place. Even there is no ragging by seniors they are helpful and friendly and will help you if they are asked for. Through JEE Main and WBJEE you can get admitted to this college. Or you can apply for this college by attending IEMJEE exam and qualifying it. Admission starts in the month of July. Guarantee of getting placed is what attracts me the before. Besides that college provides free classes for GATE and CAT aspirants. These are the reasons for me to select this college over others. The official website is uem.edu for the college and there is another website iemcrp but that is mainly for the faculties and students.

From my schooling, I have a great amount of interest in computers and technology mainly on projects. This course helps me to implement my skills in solving real-life problems by making projects and do more research in technology. There are a total of 1100 students in our 2019 batch and the number of faculties provided is quite less it is like 75:25. The faculties have their master's degree that is M.Tech degree and they are highly experienced in this teaching line. Not only that the way they teach is just amazing making everything easy is their job so that students do not face any difficulty in understanding. In total in a year there are all 4 term exams conducted that stand for 2 term exams per semester.

Companies start hiring students through placement from the 7th semester which is the starting of the 4th year. Big companies like TCS, Cognizant, CTS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys are the compulsory companies visits every year besides that there are many other companies too. Last year the total number of offers was above 1000. The highest package till now is 36 lakhs per annum in INR although the average package is 5 lakhs per annum INR. It is like 98% of the students getting placed every year. My target is to become a project researcher after completion of my degree so at this moment focusing on the GATE exam.

In total, the amount for this 4 years course is 5,37,000 INR that stands for 65,000 INR in each semester. Payment is mainly done through bank or net-banking. The scholarship is opened for those students who have above 85% in the 12th board exam. Other than that different government scholarships are also available for those who are from the state board you can apply for that also.

Smart Maker's Festival is the annual tech fest and the biggest one among the others takes place in the month of January. Annual fest or the Edu Fest is held in the month of February inside the college campus with lots of energy and fun. Books are always available inside the library whichever you will be guided by the faculties or the seniors. The library is opened for 24/7 so at any time you are permitted to go there. Classrooms are quite big because of the number of students including the labs and the AV hall. There are a white screen and projector provided in every classroom along with a green board and microphone. There are clubs like singing, sports, painting clubs managed by the students and teachers are there for guidance.
