For getting admission into IIM Kashipur, one should take the CAT examination. The general cutoff would be around 95 percentile for WAT PI rounds. Furthermore, IIM Kashipur is known for inspiring and supporting student-led societies and committees on campus that are involved in various events and make the institute proud with their achievements. The various clubs in college help nurture the minds of the students and help them develop interests beyond academia. IIM-Kashipur has several academic and non-academic clubs to push students to find different talents and recognize their own abilities. Further, the various student committees and cells also ensure that the needs of students are being met and that they get ample opportunities to display their academic and artistic talents. They are highly active in college events as well as in the printing of articles, brochures, posters, and news bits about the institute that enhances the image of IIMs.

IIM Kashipur has 30 permanent faculty members living on campus. All the faculty members are highly qualified, holding Doctorates from eminent institutions around the world. Most of the teachers use audio-visual techniques to teach and stress on learning practical applications of the concepts used in books. It is how it is. You need to know how to get the best out of them. Do your part and you will definitely have some takeaways. Second-year electives are mostly taken by visiting faculty members from A/B/C and similar colleges. Permanent faculty members are a mixed batch. Rating would range from below average to extraordinary. Blame the reservation system. Assume it's the same everywhere.

The IIM Kashipur has achieved 100% summer placements for the seventh consecutive year in 2019. A total of 66 companies offered 189 positions to 186 students who had applied for summer internships through the institute. The highest stipend offered this year was Rs 5.58 lakhs while the highest domestic stipend was Rs 2 lakh. The average stipend for the season was Rs 63,549, with the top 50 students getting an average stipend of Rs 1.25 lakh. The institute has seen a 13.52% jump in the average stipend from the previous year.

PLACEMENT OF 2018–2020 BATCH : 72 companies participated in the Final placement 2020 at IIM Kashipur. There was 218 offer made to 194 students. Highest CTC offered was Rs. 28 lakhs per annum. THE average CTC offered was Rs. 12.17 lakhs per annum. Top 10 percentile students received an average CTC of Rs. 24 lakhs per annum. BFSI sector emerged to be a dominant player in IIM Kashipur placements 2020. The picture is rosier on the outside and one should be prepared to face some hiccups during summer as well as final placements. The highest domestic package was 28 Lac/annum, which was offered to three be REC. The average salary was around 12 lacs per annum. The big names which offered jobs to students include Deloitte, TATA Capital, Godrej, Muthoot Group, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank. The highest package offered for summer placements was 4.6 lacs by Microland.

IIM Kashipur offers Management degree courses such as MBA, Fellowship Programs, and Executive MBA. The IIM Kashipur fees structure for some major courses are mentioned below: The IIM Kashipur MBA fee is INR 3,75,000 per annum. The tuition fee for the EFPM program is INR 2,00,000 for the Ist year and INR 1,50,000 for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year. The following GOI Scholarships are available to the MBA Participants: 1) Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Castes Students – Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. 2) Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Tribes Students – Ministry of Tribal Affairs. 3) Merit-cum means based scholarship scheme belonging to the minority communities - Ministry of Minority Affairs.

IIM Kashipur has its own permanent campus in which it moved to in 2015. There are basketball and tennis courts. Cricket and Football are played on common ground. Gym facilities are not inside the campus and the same can be availed in the nearby town. The hostels are newly built and are thus quite clean. The rooms are spacious and are given single occupancy with an attached bathroom. I. e, each can have their single own room. The campus is overall quite neat and clean. CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS 9/10 I would suggest, you visit IIM Kashipur's website for this section as there are many student clubs and activities like Marketing, HR, Operations, IT clubs and many other interests based clubs like photography, foreign language, quiz, etc. There are various committees that deal with the administration. TEDx, Coalescence, Uttishtha, Agnitraya are few big events of the college. Life is fun, hectic, and a lot of learning.

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores and their previous academic performance. Shortlisted candidates are called for a round of Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). Merit list will be generated on the basis of the performance in the test, PI, and the CAT score.
