Remarks
Asian Business School has provided me with smooth transitions from campus to my academics, internships, industrial visits and placements. The infrastructure provided is no less than a corporate office, it gives you a vibe of being in office before you even start your corporate journey. The academic structure is well equipped with the industry standard, courses like Digital Marketing, Business Analytics have been already introduced, in accordance with the trend, workshops are conducted to provide a broader horizon. And with highly accomplished faculties the overall academic experience becomes seamless. The corporate resource cell network is very strong and proven to be very supportive even in covid times, I can gladly say that my internship and placement along with valuable guest lectures were intact and helped me ace though opportunities which I was a right fit for. ABS has a very right mixture of the fee charged and opportunities delivered.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is highly practical and is in sync with the industry trend, lots of case studies, assignments and most importantly project work is given to be done in groups and teams to emphasize on building team management and people skills. Faculties are highly accomplished in their areas of the domain but are also super supportive and interactive. There is a very clear and transparent process that takes place during exams. If you are someone who hates writing long theories, ABS is your chance to prove your mettle in writing application based answers.
Internships Opportunities
My internship experience was super amazing, I was associated with a tech-based start-up and the learnings that I was able to grasp is immense. All thanks to ABS and the efforts of the CRC department. Needless to say, if the going gets tough or not CRC with its strong industrial relations always is there for its students to provide with ample opportunities.
Placement Experience
The students after getting into 3rd semester and when finishing their summer internships get eligible for the placement drive few of the companies that have visited during covid times are Deloitte, ITC, Berger, Aditya Birla Capital, TCS to name a few. The highest placement offered is 17.5 lacs, Average is around 6.5 and the median is 6 lac with minimum placement policy is 4.5 i.e no companies visit below 4.5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very reasonable the total fee for PGDM is 7.25 lacs, also they provide assistance during availing education loan. They have tie-ups with banks which ensures the smooth process of availing the educational loan.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good. There are people coming from various geographies and diverse backgrounds like B.Tech, B.Com, Law, Finance architecture. And it helps in building a really good perspective because you get to know about other cultures and respect their ideologies. There are several clubs made especially for the students and the campus is purely student-driven.
Interview Experience
Yes, I had my interview through skype but prior to that, I gave an aptitude test which is ABS own aptitude test. The interview was structured in a manner to test my skills and candidature and the knowledge I possess.
