Get to know some truth

This is one of the prestigious engineering colleges in Mysore. It has a legacy of more than 25 years. Talent is encouraged to reach greater heights in this place through thorough mentoring. It all depends on the student how they show interest to groom their skills. The admission process is simple. After a seat is allowed in CET, just visit college along with documents and tuition fees, and you are enrolled to the course.

I chose ECE branch as it is considered a tough branch, meant only for Toppers. But in reality, anybody with a passion to learn can survive in this branch. My branch has around 20 faculty members. Intake for the course is 120 students per batch. All teachers are MTech holders. Many have completed a PhD. Everyone adopts a simple teaching method. Everything has gone digital now. Internals were conducted fairly.

College offers 2 on-campus internships. 1. Comsol multiphysics 2. PCB design. For both these internships, students can learn on the campus without approaching any company. Few students opted to intern at various other companies like L&T, Pmap techno tech Pvt Ltd. I went to pmap techno tech twice as an intern. This company is founded by our college alumni.

Students can appear in placements from 7th semester onwards. TCS, Wipro all this company test we can appear in the pool. First American company visited our campus and hired only one candidate for 4.5LPA. Infosys came to a pool campus drive. MORE THAN 30 students were selected for 3.6LPA.

CET quota: each year we must pay the fees alloted by CET. Additionally, we need to pay college fees of around 28K. All eligible students get Post metric scholarship for state government each year around 18k. I got selected to Infosys and TCS Company in campus interview.

Each year a fest is Gravity is held. It's a 2-day grand event. There is a college club called VISTARA. It has 5 different clubs all of it headed by students. A space club is there for space watchers. IEEE STUDENT branch is very actively hosting a series of activities. Engineers without borders student chapter are also involved in social activists.

They provide metal or wooden cot and separate cupboard. Each room has 2 tables and 2 chairs. One room can accommodate 4 students. Meal quality is normal. If any complaints, you can talk to the warden who is always present in the hostel.
