Short and crisp.

IIM Bodh Gaya is one of the growing baby IIMs. Being the new IIM, it has proved itself worthy and keeping up the brand value. Also, looking at the placements figures for the last 5 years, it has been growing constantly. Although there are few shortcomings such as the absence of permanent campus etc in the next 2 year, even that will be also the thing of the past. In the 2020-2022 batch, diversity has played a huge role.

The main reason I chose this Programme is that I was always surrounded by business professional and managers and that ignited the interest in me. Professors here are quite experienced when it comes to industry exposure. The class environment is also very engaging and they are all quite qualified. A year consist of three terms of exams and each term had mid-term and end-term along with quizzes in between. Passing the exam is not much of the task if you focus regularly in class but of course, to be in top 10 percentile of the batch, its hell of a task.

Various different types of roles like business development executive, market research and strategy, financial analyst, research analyst, consultation intern, etc. Companies like BNY, RBI, DRAUP, soulflower, etc come to recruit students.

After the fourth trimester (out of six), students are eligible for campus placements. There are various companies like BNY, RBI, etc which visits the campus with a good number of offers. The highest package and avg package was 20 lakhs and 10.5 lakhs respectively for the previous batch. From the last 5 years, 100% of the batch is being placed.

While other b-schools were increasing the fees, IIM Bodhgaya, for the batch 2020-2022, there was no fee hike. IIM Bodhgaya has tied up with Local SBI branch and that made the financing easy and cheap and that too without collateral.

Life at Campus is one. Since I had always wanted to live a hostel life, I am liking it more. Elegante is the annual fest at IIM Bodhgaya but with the current global pandemic, it has been shifted to the end of February. Learning resource centre consists of thousands of books. Sports and extracurricular activities happen a lot on the campus. All the clubs are run by students itself.

It's a single occupancy room and my hostel if at 200 metres away from the academic block so even if you wake up at 8:50 AM, you can manage to attend 9 AM classes. There's no such particular separate registration for a hostel. The food quality and menu of the mess is also one of the best I have been served.

There was no GD, just the WAT and PI. Questions with respect to my education background, work experience were asked. IIM Bodh Gaya takes into account the 10th, 12th, Graduation scores, etc. I had prepared for my WAT and PI on my own. I read newspapers daily and had a thorough discussion with my friends.
