Review and opinion on UEMK by me

UEMK college has a good placement record in the past as well as in the present time as well which is consistent. The college is near my residence and it is easy for me to avail of the transport. Besides that, the environment is really good in terms of education and location. Also, this college is completely against ragging and if found then strict action is taken against the victim. Admission is done through IEMJEE conducted every year. Or you can get admission by your JEE Main percentile or by the marks you have got in WBJEE examination. The main reason is the college provides everything you need from top to the bottom and also it is near to my residence. Also, college gives free training on how to crack GATE, CAT, SSC and much other government job examination. There is all total of two websites of college. One is the uem.edu which anyone can access and the other is iemcrp made for the students and the faculties for college use.

This course computer science and engineering help in dealing with real life problems and help in knowing and exploring how through technology life could be made easier and modern. Also, I have a special attraction towards innovation and technology and love to deal with them. There are around 1000 students in our batch and 750 of them are from computer science engineering. So the strength is quite huge and for each subject, 3-4 teachers are assigned and the job gets done. The estimated ratio is like 70:30. The teachers are highly experienced in their respective teaching line. They have their masters degree in their subjects. The teaching technique is so unique that makes every topic look easy and understandable. Midterm 1 and midterm 2 are the two term exams taken in each semester and the classroom notes get the job done to score well in the term exams.

7th semester that is the starting of the 4th year students can sit for the campus placement exams. CTS, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, e-Litmus, Infosys, Cognizant are the various companies visiting every year on our college campus. 36lpa is the highest salary received by a student to date and the average salary is from 4-5lpa. The number of students getting placed is extremely good which stands for around 97%. My target after completing my course is to go for higher studies and looking for MBA.

During admission, you need to pay Rs 81,200 which include the 1st semester fees along with the admission fees and per semester Rs 65,000 is what you need to pay per semester. According to my opinion, the fees is quite affordable. There is no particular scholarship for students but you can apply for the various government scholarships which are applicable for the students passing out from the state board.

Smart Maker's Festival is the main tech fest held in the month of January. The annual fest is conducted in the month of October inside the college campus which is the Edu Fest. Everyone can take part in this fest and is organized with lots of enthusiasm. Books are always available in the library whichever you will need and the library can be accessed anytime and every day. Classrooms are well spaced and neat. Everyday cleaning is done in the classroom. Classrooms are provided with projectors, microphone and everything a classroom needs. Sports is held in the month of February with lots of events to participate in somewhere near the college campus. Students can show their leadership skills by looking after certain clubs like the signing club, painting club and many other.
