Very good location wise. Gaya has a very well connected railway station situated just 17kms from the campus. It also has an international airport just 7kms from the campus. Apart from that, IIM Bodh Gaya has good placements and very good international relations having MOUs signed with 10+ foreign top-class universities. The hostel life is amazingly full of different activities and moreover, the students get to enjoy single occupancy rooms. Regarding the admission process, IIM Bodh Gaya is a part of CAP and since last year, it has started its own supplementary admission process to increase the diversity in the batch. Cat score, Wat and PI are the 3 steps of the process.

I chose this course because of the good faculty and the wide variety of marketing courses available. Faculty: student ratio is around 1:15. Most faculties have PhDs from the top IIMs and they mostly follow a case study based teaching pedagogy.

For marketing, different companies offered internships. The stipends vary from 20000 to 100000. Some of the top companies were Crompton greaves, Raam group, Nabler, AGS, KPMG, etc. Roles include business analyst, sales manager, business development associate, customer relationship manager, product manager etc.

Placements are good. Every year IIM BG achieves 100% placements. The average salary ranges around 11-12 lakhs and the medium salary is around 10.5 lakhs. The highest package for the batch of 2018-2020 was 20 lakhs. Companies like BNY MELON, EY, KPMG, KOTAK MAHINDRA, TATA AIA, etc visit for placements.

Overall fees are 10.5 lakhs. This includes academic charges and room rent. Mess food charges are around 5000 per month. IIM Bodh Gaya has its own financial assistance given to the underprivileged students. Apart from the GOI provides financial scholarships to the cast students.

The name of our annual cultural, management and sports fest is Elegante. It is usually conducted in the March of November or March. All kinds of books, journals are available in the library. The college has amenities for basketball, badminton, futsal, cricket, table tennis, poker, volleyball etc. College has more than 25 clubs and committees. The best among them is Unnayan, the music and drama club.

All rooms are of single occupancy. The rooms have a bed with mattress, table with locker, wall cupboard and 2 chairs. Meals are amazing. All kinds of food from North to South Indian are available in the mess. Room rent per trimester is 8750 and the monthly mess charges are around 5000.

There were a WAT and a PI round for the admission. Interview questions ranged from my work experience to my areas of interests and hobbies. Some questions were also asked from statistics and general topics in the world.
