Nice campus great experience.

Overall I can say college is good if we look at the overall development of the student the campus infrastructure is good the hostel needs to be improved and the fee structure needs to be improved.

I took JEE entrance examination after 12 th and scored 41 in the exam. I opted for this particular college as it is a known college in our city and is affiliated to the PTU jalandhar .

The course structure of the college is good .It not only focuses on the education but on the overall developement of an individual . Rather than studies it provides the extra curricular activity environment such as technical workshops ,technical fests , cultural fests and also sports activities.

Yes our college provides internship to the graduate students on an yearly basis .The general stipend may be around Rs 8000-10000 .As I am a current student I have no experience about the internship.

I would say the the placement at the college is not much.Not many companies arrive to our college . Recently infosys reached the campus for placement and I think only 8-10 students were placed during that placement .The maximum salary package offered by infosys was about 3.25 lakhs per annum. The highest package till now was offered by Indian Air Force which was about 8 Lakhs per annum.Other companies that arrived at the college were Beta soft ,GVK power,unit nexus ,wipro and they offered between 1.5 lakhs to 3.25 lakhs per anumm.

Many events are celebrated in the college which includes cultural ,technical and management events.Events are held by different technical societies and departmental societies . Main events are ISTE ,Techno opus , Annual fest, Basant fest ,sports fest .ISTE and techno opus are the big events of the college .Any student from other colleges can also join these fests.And all the other events are at college level.Participation is huge in such fests organised by the college.

Fee structure of the college is expensive its about 50,000 per semester which i think is much out of this fee 30,000 is the tuition fee and other 20,000 is the college expenses . This fee structure is not affordable by all the students .So it should be around 35,000.

At the time of admission there are some seats for the Fee Waiver means the fee structure for some seats is very low which cuts of the tuition fee and the student has to pay only 18000-20000 per semester.

The college campus is lush green and spread in about 90 acres .The campus life is great .Many workshops which are held by different companies which provides great knowledge to the students .There are many departmental as well as cultural societies which arrange different events and fests and responsible for the discipline in the college.There is no ragging in the college.There is gender ,caste,race,religion equality in the college.the college is well maintained and is funded by the government for the maintainance .There are many extracurricular activities for the development of the individual. Many events including robotics ,group discussion ,aptitude and debates are held in the campus.

I am a day scholar but then also I can say hostel facilities are not that good the rooms are conjusted each room is shared by 2-3 students .The washrooms are not that good but the hostel rent is about 2200-2300 Rs for 6 months which I think is affordable the mess food is quite good .One time diet costs Rs 20 to the hostelers and Rs 40 to the day scholars. Nearby PG's average rental is about 1500 Per month.

Senior students in the college are the very helpful the support staff and the counselling department is also very helpful they provide the best help they can if a student gets any problem.

The exam structure is fine .There are two monthly sessional in a semester which are of 24 marks that are taken for the internal marks .There are two tests in a day, one in the morning session and another in the evening session due to which we are not able to prepare that well which leads to a tired day. But the exam structure is good .We get an ample amount of time for the preparation of the exams all the rules are followed during the exams.The labs , we can say are good .Well furnished ,Air conditioned and full of equipment related to the course.

I got admission in this college by filling the online application form on the PTU(Punjab Technical University Jalandhar) site . The notification of the admission was released online after the declaration of the result of JEE exam .I paid an amount of Rs 2000 for the online form i choose this college as the first preference. After that I got a confirmation e-mail which I was asked to take with me to the campus during placement at the placement I filled the admission form and paid the admission fee.

The faculty of the college is well qualified .They have the full fledged knowledge of the subjects they are teaching.Especially the senior lecturers have the excellent knowledge about the course .They are very much concerned about the knowledge gained by the student and are very helpful during any problem to the students.
